Mighty Heroes & Sneaky Ninjas Coming To Infinity In August

The Sci-Fi world of Infinity expands even more with more new miniatures and the return of old warriors from Corvus Belli in August. ALEPH, the Next Wave and Yu Jing get something fun to play with this month.

Optimate Agent Maximus // Infinity

Crafted to be the epitome of heroism, Maximus now acts as the spearhead of the Optimates, safeguarding the future of mankind against the oncoming enemy. If you are a regular joe within the world of the Human Sphere, he is a heroic and idolised individual. The enemies of ALEPH also know that he pulls no punches when it comes to vanquishing his enemies.

This set comes with a miniature for Maximus with Thunderbolt, but you also get an alternative arm that gives him an E/M Carbine. He is also joined by his MateBot Minimus (I see what you did there). He could be a good option for those wanting to expand the options presented in the Operation Mazebreaker Battle Pack.

Next Wave Villain?

Next up, we have the fearsome-looking Drakios, Team Achilles' Dragon, who might be compensating for something with all that gear.

Drakios, Team Achilles' Dragon // Infinity

Drakios joined forces with Patroclus in order to help out Achilles, which somewhat flew in the face of any allegiance he might have had to the orders from ALEPH. All ties have now been cut with the Steel Phalanx and he has now joined with the Next Wave, his honour intact.

The set comes with the miniature for Drakios, who has options for an Mk-12 but also a Red Fury. You also get a Kydoimos with a Heavy Flamethrower. For those looking to embrace the next step for humanity, Drakios is a solid option for you to choose, introducing a powerful hero into the mix.

Stealthy Killers

We follow that up with some new options for the likes of Yu Jing and JSA. Can you spot the Ninjas hiding in the shadows?

Ninjas (MULTI Sniper/Hacker) // Infinity

I don't know what you think you saw but remember that the government doesn't acknowledge the existence of Ninjas. They are just rumours and no Ninja has ever been captured alive to prove that case. I don't even think there's any image above this bit of text?

The set comes with two miniatures. One of the Ninjas has a MULTI Sniper Rifle whilst the other is a Hacker. A solid pair of options for expanding a starting squad for the likes of the JSA, Yu Jing or the Imperial Service Action Pack itself.

Boost The Combined Army

Last but not least, we have a Booster Pack for those playing as the Combined Army.

Essentials: Combined Army Booster Pack Alpha // Infinity

Useful for both the Combined Army and Morat Aggression Force, this set comes with three miniatures. You get two Daturazi with Combi Rifle and one Rodok with Spitfire. Again, this is a great booster (as the name would suggest) for those building on the Combined Army Action Pack or the Morat Aggression Forces Action Pack.

I've always said that if I was going to dive into Infinity, I'd go with something like the Morat of the Combined. I think they look suitably evil and dangerous as well as being fun to paint!
