Wyld Holdings Announces Acquisition Of Wargames Illustrated

Wyld Holdings has today announced the acquisition of Wargames Illustrated magazine. This begins a new chapter for the nearly forty-year-old publication, which continues to be a pillar of the wargaming world.

The partnership empowers Wargames Illustrated's editorial integrity whilst leveraging Wyld's commercial infrastructure to scale. This also synergises with OnTableTop's media network so that all areas of the tabletop gaming hobby are covered, from the smallest of Historical wargames through to the giants of the industry.

This acquisition also featured news that industry veteran Lyle Lowery will be joining as the Incoming Editor-in-Chief of Wargames Illustrated. Lowery has worked on White Dwarf for Games Workshop, No Quarter for Privateer Press and The Trench for Factory Fortress. Lowery will focus on strengthening the magazine's global appeal and delivering an exceptional and exciting tabletop hobby magazine to both print and digital markets.
With the acquisition finalised, backend integration is already underway to enhance service delivery for subscribers worldwide. This new era for Wargames Illustrated promises to merge the timeless value of print journalism with the high-octane reach of digital media.
