Marvel: Crisis Protocol

Finished up Wolverine today. He was really fun to paint. I especially enjoyed trying to blend his shoulder pads.

Finished Sabretooth this weekend. Really happy with how he came out. I love the sculpt of this model and he was really fun to paint. Still waiting on paint for Thanos, so I’ll probably start knocking out some other minis in the meantime.

Finished up Mystique today as well. The combination of the white and her skin make her photograph really poorly with my current set up. I’ll be excited to get better pictures of her once I have a chance to upgrade it. Painting her skin was really fun , although the front and back of her dress that goes between her legs made her a real challenge to paint. Were I to do it again, I might consider painting some pieces before fully assembling her.

I’m thinking I might do She-Hulk next. I have a rule where I don’t play with unpainted minis and I want to get as many factions as playable as possible, so I’m trying to get each leader and at least 2 members of their affiliations painted. I actually sat down and made an excel tool that calculates my progress and with Mystique finished I’m at 57.38% of the currently released MCP minis painted, which is up from 49% before this weekend, so it’s progress at least.

When I took pics of Mystique, I noticed the detail on the white is entirely washed out, so I had a conversation with a professional painter on discord and got some advice on how to upgrade my paint set up, so I’m going to take new pics of everything and do some entries with the new pics, organized by roster.

I cannot believe I’m finished painting this faction. So glad to be caught up on them.

Finished up the last of the Asgardians. Really happy to be done with them, although a couple of them are pretty sorely in need of repaints in my opinion.
