The arc troopers and the completion of the army
This clone are is now complete. I have a few characters up next and maybe I will find some time to get a couple of my droids done.
The army shot 501st phase 1 and some characters
Getting close to finished with this commission. The symbol on Kenobi’s shoulder pad was done free hand and the saber is a blue fluorescent rod. Just 3 arc trooper squads left.
Alien bases
I have been asked several times now about how I paint up my alien bases. So it was about time to get a tutorial. I will be using products from hugeminis and games workshop.
I started off by applying a layer of hugeminis' stone paste. I like using this product because I can sculpt it a bit on the base.
Apply a base coat of stegadon scale green
Next apply a heavy drybrush of sotek green
Then a light drybrush of temple guard blue
After that i do a 1:2, druchi violet to lahmian medium
Once that is dry I applied some of hugeminis red rust weathering power. I do this in the deeper impacts or indents that I made with the stone paste.Now paint the lip of the base black and apply any tufts you like or keep it bare for a more blasted wasteland look. Happy painting.
Kamino security phase 1 squad
This phase 1 squad is for the clone commission I have been working on. The next post will be a bit different as a will be doing a step by step tutorial on my alien bases. This will have pictures from start to finish.
Commander Cody
These Codys were painted up for Darkfire designs. One phase 1, one phase 2. The stl files can be found on their gumroad site.
501st phase two squad
The last phase 2 squad for this job. Next up is a couple of phase 1 squads and some arc trooper squads.
Ahsoka phase 2 squad
Continuing on with the clone projects. This phase 2 squad was done up as Ahsoka squad. The orange is Mars orange by scale75 and the blue royal blue by Vallejo.
212th phase 2s
More work for Darkfire designs. These are thier phase 2s. Like always you can find the stl files on their gumroad site.
