I decided to start with the Iberians, knowing nothing of the history I decided to pick up an Osprey book on the subject.
I also ordered some decals from Vitrix , I was also forced to get a bag of hairy Irish in order to save money on postage (cough).
Next I actually started assembling the figures. It’s clearly an older Victrix kit but still decent quality. For some reason they included a bag of night goblin bases, popular with hairy Irish people of the North. I held my nose and got on with it.
What's All This About?
My reining in of hobby spending had been going quite well. I had gone two months without buying anything but a couple of boardgames and some paints.
Then Vinted sidled up to me and with all the seductive power of a twin pack of Jaffa cakes, that I don’t have to share, and they got me.
‘Psst wanna buy two £55 starter warbands for a total of £45?’
‘No, some of them are French’
‘But you already have the rulebook for your Sengoku Argy Bargy type thing’

Not being one to pass up the opportunity to scupper a good bargain I then proceeded to the Victrix website and spent more money on shield decals than the miniatures had cost.
I then went back to look through the seller again and amid the questionable trousers and strident blouses I found a couple more bits.
