I still think the dreadnought base is the real king of bases, the chariot base is simply a glory hunter.
I have to admit I’m not a fan of the look of the kit, I think its the wings, they just look completely out of place with the rest of the kit somehow.
However, with a few tomb guard and a tomb king commander thrown in, its probably better value than a lot of the big kits out there, and the model appears to be an effective in game unit.
Are you doing a tomb kings week by the way?
Nice kit. Prefer the warsphinx though, but no doubt I will have 2 of these kids for one of each for when one or the other is needed. I hope we get a tomb kings week but seeing as there an unboxing now, I seriously doubt it.

Soft focus helps. But only a lens cap could help you my dumpy far eastern friend.
darrell should do an unboxing on all the spare bases gw sells.

Good video Daryl! How do you think those extra tombgaurd would fit into a normal unit of tombgaurd? Are they the same or do they have other poses which might make them hard to rank up?
The Warsphinx isn’t a sphinx at all – a Sphinx is half animal, half human – but that warsphinx is entirely animal (or more like some demented dinosaur)!
i thik darrel should include the dreadnought bases and the elder bases cos i think GW shoud make more scenic bases
