Two new expansions have appeared online for Osprey Games' The Silvery Bayonet. We're just coming off the back of the adventures in Venice and we could soon be off to The Barbary Coast and South America.

The Barbary Coast - A Rising Tide - The Silver Bayonet

The Barbary Coast - A Rising Tide // The Silver Bayonet

We kick off with another expansion to The Silver Bayonet from T. C. Stephen.

"Sailors know well to be on their guard when sailing near the Barbary states. Corsairs and pirates may be rife in these waters, but for all their menace, they are still just mortal. In hidden coves and beneath sand-swept ruins on these rocky shores lie the secrets of ancient civilisations - and those who protect them. While rumours of lost treasure may tempt the bold to brave these perils, the legend of an ancient curse that dooms those who seek its power keeps the wise away."

In A Rising Tide, you will head to the Barbary Coast and explore it both on land and sea as the Napoleonic Wars rage and the battle against the Harvestmen continues. You will dive into port towns and explore islands as well as the ruins of ancient Carthage. There is a full competitive campaign included alongside five solo scenarios. You will also see this introduce pirate fleets and creatures from myth and legend!

The Barbary Coast - A Rising Tide is coming in March but if you'd prefer to delve into South America, then you might want to explore In Search of El Dorado, which is pegged for a May release.

South American In Search of El Dorado - The Silver Bayonet

South America - In Search of El Dorado // The Silver Bayonet

In Search of El Dorado comes from Dr Fernando Arteaga and takes you further afield once again...

"As the Peninsular War consumes the homeland, Spain's once-mighty empire is in disarray and rebellion stirs in its colonies. When Seville fell to the French in 1810, many charts and records disappeared from the former archives of the Casa de Contratación, the heart of Spain's colonial empire and keeper of its imperial secrets. Among the documents that made their way into the hands of spymasters and fortune-hunters across Europe were files relating to the mythical El Dorado. Not all of the adventurers, mercenaries, and soldiers who seek it out are driven by greed, however - there are some more interested in the City of Gold's darker legends than its fabled wealth."

Inside, you'll get both a solo and competitive campaign that leads you through mountains, jungles and the heart of the continent in search of El Dorado. Face off against other mortal foes who are seeking the same goal alongside monstrous creatures and sometimes even the land itself! Can you piece together the clues and locate El Dorado? Will the treasure be everything you ever wanted or damn you for your foolishness?

It's great to see more adventures coming for The Silver Bayonet and from a new author. The Silver Bayonet really does seem to spark creativity!
