Moonstone combat system would make a great start for a system for the Greatest Movie ever MAde.
Good to get a grounding in the game as we’ve got some fun videos coming up on Moonstone!
This is looking to be a really interesting game and the fighting system sounds fantastic an like many of the card games Ooh you played that i counter with this type of thing which is always a good way to go differently from most of the others.
it works really well in practice, both of the bluff mechanics for fighting and casting change how a game plays out
An enjoyable interview. I got into this game last yeah just as the first lockdown started. I’ve been collecting some of the models but so far I haven’t had a game yet. Hopefully that will change later this year as we all get vaccinated.
That reminds me, I have an inflated frog to paint by Christmas.
yesss I have the christmas version it’s lovely
Okay – so I am now completely won over! Rule book and starter deck ordered from the Moonstine website, and signed up for notification when Arising launches.
I’ll spend some time deciding on first models to get – but as a game system – I’m in!

I think this is the final push for me as well. Yesterday I decided to get back into HEMA and now this gem of a game takes inspiration from that as well? In the Venn Diagram of my life this game appears to be slap bang in the middle!
I love this game and have been playing it since it came out. Happy to take questions on here – message me – or I am in the facebook groups with lots of other players, and happy to answer queries and talk through the various parts of the game, from the fact deployment is a vital decision in the game, list building etc etc.
And I agree with @avernos, commonwealth rule – always take Quack!
Can anyone help me, in the two player starter box, which looks amazing, it has a rules pamphlet, do I need to get the full rules or the pamphet the rules minus the fluff?
