New Warhammer Heroes Coming Soon With Age Of Sigmar Focus
July 28, 2026 by brennon
The Warhammer Heroes range continues this year but with a shift from Warhammer 40,000 to the Mortal Realms of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. This time around, you have seven excellent Cities of Sigmar heroes that you'll be able to collect.
New Warhammer Heroes // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
If you're new to Warhammer Heroes, these are blind buy boxes which you'll be able to pick up from various retailers later this year. You won't know what miniatures are inside each box until you crack it open, but you can also buy a full set of eight, although even then, there is no guarantee that you'll get all of the different miniatures if you do so. If you get a duplicate, you've now got a miniature to sell on or maybe used for a kitbashing or converting project.
Arch-Knight Kenzo, the Drake-Blade // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
The miniatures from these sets can be assembled without glue or tools and so they could be a great start for someone wanting to dip their toe into Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Miniatures include the likes of Arch-Knight Kenzo, the Drake-Blade but also Colour-Bearer Brigson, Wildercorps hunter Caul Durnan, Forgepriest Brother Belias, Pyrocaster Ignus Sharn, and Fusil-Trooper Brenwick.
Pyrocaster Ignus Sharn // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
There is also a mysterious seventh character which you can see teased above. I would sense that this is going to be a Witch Hunter of sorts, an Agent of Azyr, thanks to that big hat and the flaming torch. I am already getting Mathias Thulmann vibes.
Forgepriest Brother Belias // Warhammer Age of Sigmar
All of the miniatures are incredibly characterful and can be used as stand-ins for all of the various characters that you can already run in Cities of Sigmar armies. You could maybe paint these up to suit your collection, or test out new schemes on them, making them one-off painting projects.
These miniatures will be popping up soon, so keep an eye out for them!
