Special weapon marines
A selection of 3D prints from Ravenx which adds some nice options of weapons beyond the usual pulse rifles. We getvtwo other types of machine gun that I recognise from the rpg along with rocket launcher and sniper.
I painted two squads today the first in traditional colours
The second I thought it would be interesting to do a desert camo scheme 3D printing Colonists
Black site studios have just released their game violent dark which is heavily alien influenced and with it a host of minis. Being based in the UK it's expensive yo get their minis but they have some great stl files. They do a multipart colonists kit which comes with lots of options from motion trackers, electric prods, lamps, flamers pistol and rifles. A great edition for anyone who wants to populate a colony bulld. I used the Alien isolation art book for inspiration for colours 
Ravenx do a nice working joe file in its charging station. I plan to print these again so I can represent empty stations and Joe's on the prowl 
Adapting Mars Code Aurora
Available from studio tomahawk, mars code aurora is a Sci fi skirmish game that is quite adaptable. It has numerous army lists you can tweak for your favourite force from in my case Aliens. Using the Equality faction list I ended up with this little force. The game operates with card activation and each model is individually moved.
Sll the marines had to do was escort a colonist off the board. Shame all those aliens got in the way
We did forget the burst rule allowing the marines more shots at close range but the use of orders allowed the aliens to activate more than one and break the marines line. The game relied heavily on an overwatch standby system creating kill corridors as soon as a critter emerged. This didn't stop the aliens wiping out the marines. 
Vac suits
3D prints from papsikels. Nostromo era vac suits. I went for some poppy colours because they were in the original film but due to lighting it's hard to notice
Reactor expansion
After I did a video on the reactor room for use with the classic board game Lv427-designs reached out to me when I mentioned that I felt the room was too inclosed. They are very good at listening to feedback and came back with a couple of large door designs to expand the use of the set
Ventshafts
The ventshaft add on by Lv427-designs completes the board to the original Aliens Board Game. It has some nice features such as different designed floor panels to mark Newts choice rolls for which way to go and removable vent hatches 
Operations Control
The much smaller version of operations to fit the classic game. I really liked putting this one together. I'm still printing with resin which isn't ideal for this sort of scenery but it comes out nice and crisp. A great upgrade from the old board 
Hadleys Hope part 3
My final video exploring my choice for what to place opposite medlab and operations. Also how a failed 3D print isn’t always the end of the world.
