The starting point, 46 painted, 41 to go
So for the Cavalier wargames show we have once more dug into our archive of games and decided to play a game that has been around since the late 1990s a time when Richard Sharpe and his chosen men had been around on the TV. Alternative Armies released Flintloque and then Slaughterloo, the former was a skirmish game and the laster was the full massed battle game, both games used the same miniatures. Unlike my last project Alternative Armies still produces the miniatures for this game, which looks like it will be needed.
At some point I decided to move from my primary Slaughertloo army of Dwarfs and purchased an Ostarian Division as follows:
- Digby von Klausewitz
- Jagers (painted)
- Chassuer Infantry (half-painted)
- Hussars
- Line Infantry
- Cuirassiers
I supplemented this with some Artillery Crew that I purchased already painted. Not a big army but with the division my friend has it will be enough.
I’ve attached some photographs of the painted figures.
