90 days
Looking forward to it, as I said in the other thread, narrative games is what I do, allies is just gravy for that.
PS, the laser cut scenery there (is it micro arts?) looks very very nice indeed.
Yup, that’s Micro Art’s Infinity stuff:

Next week is going to be a biggie that’s for sure – I’m especially looking forward to the cheese mining…and subsequent blazing arguments. 😉 Hope the servers can take it! 🙂
Really looking forward to 40k week, been checking in every day since the 30th wondering where the heck Beasts of War was with 6th. An yes allies are amazing :).
That is one amazing looking terrain board.
Yes it is… That’s because it’s not the usual boring goth-grey mess.
I won’t say why, and I won’t say more…
Bah nothing wrong with the “goth grey mess” as you put it. Its the bloody skulls everywhere that bother me.
Very nice Infinity board though.
Oh Romain, did you have a hand it that terrain? I bet that’s why it looks of awesome or you pointed the others in the right direction 😉
Nope, not me… You’ll see !
Guys, I hadn’t played 40k in about 3 years, but this new rule-set has me dusting off my old orks again for a propper WAAAAGH. Look forward to the coverage.
Hooray \o/ About time we see the old cheesemasters in action again 😉
6th Edition? Pah old news 😉
Can’t wait to see the coverage 😀
Fiiinnnnaallllly.
It was kind of hard to get exited about the 6th edition teaser coverage when I was eyeballing the Infinity terrain layed out on the table…. So? 6th edition? Cool. Next week. Now show us some more that board.
Live Rounds. When?
Looking forward to see what the beasts have to say.
Bring it on Guys
It’s what a lot of us have been waiting to hear I’m sure.
I like the rules and so do all the people I know who have them.
Good Times ahead
I humble myself and really have only one request for next week.
Will you guys create acouple of Allied Army lists?, and back them with the strategy behind creating them
I’d rather see fluff built army lists EG an imperial guard list with a codex space marine sternguard unit and a librarian representing the deathwatch, or a primaris psyker representing a rouge trader using Kroot mercenaries etc, rather than just “X are crap at Y plug gaps with Z” scenarios.
Even better if someone will let you fudge the rules to use a guard army with nids for a genestealer cult, or craftworld iyanden with dark eldar for some “angst-ridden forays into the world of necromancy”.
@dawnpatrolchapter … cheesy Imperial Guard shenanigans have already begun!
I build with the notion there will always be cheese…
No matter the game or latest rules to be unleashed, the trick with 6th edition is the ability to turn it all into cheese. Therefore the table top is level to some degree. Allied lists may be a way to do that.
As far as fluff based lists to each there own, it seems to me that to pay money just to recreate a certain story line.
Is for those who wack the hut to national geographic magazine, because there to broke for internet porn muchless a girlfriend (very pricey).
Whether its cheaper to have a girlfriend or start a 40k army…
Is quickly becoming the 8th. world wonder right next to stone henge, the pyramids and whether or not the light stays on in the fridge when you close the door or not.
At the end of the matter I am seeing a combo with Orks and necrons I think I will spend the money on to field.
Love it guys can just picture you guys sitting up in bed reading through the new rules hey Warren have you seen the new rule on page 45 that means i can smash your nids even more now. Cant wait for the 6th week
Thats what I did when I got it at 12 midnight and got home close to 2 in the morning.
love the gaming table set up in front of you to love to see a game of infinity on it.
Does anyone know how many editions of the “Ultimated Edition” we’re released as GW do not know !
I hope they will go over the flying rules because we are having a hard time at out lgs trying to figure it all out. Movement, attack, flat-out, hovering, zoom, etc.
