Nice job, do you use the vice when you’re painting normally? Or just when you’re painting for video?
Thats really an great an quick way to paint nids.
What is the black wash called?
badab black
It would be great if you guys did other methods of painting of Tyranids, especially the feathering technique for the carapace. Alot of people (including me) seem to have trouble figuring it out.
very fashionable pointy tongue
you guys should put the paints you use in the description
fantastic paint jobs, could you tell me what colors you painted your genestealers chest?
yo guys you gotta see if you can do a behemoth version as i love tht colour scheme and lookin for way to speed paint effectively
How did you base the ‘Nids?
i really enjoy these videos. but would love them much more if you did some fantasy models
well guys, your painting vids are great – simple and very effective painting – can’t wai to see more 🙂
Really good vid chaps i bet you could turn out a small army in a weekend.Gonna try this with my Nids once i have the colours chosen ,thanks again.
it woud be nice to see a paning video fore the stompa or other larg motle. im im not shor how to tackle it with tiny rushes and im not shor i shood treet it as treane eather .
Which colour did you use for the green? It looks aweome and I want to try and replicate it.
I really like the muted/earthy look that came out of this. I’ve started painting some with this scheme. One thing I changed is that I did the gun with the Talarn Flesh/Baal Red combination also. I didn’t like how the gun on such a large model wasn’t called out.
I’ve also played around with different options for the talons. I tried a more brown color, but that left the entire model too brown. The darkness of the grey really helps tie the colors together.
Keep the 3 Colors Up videos coming, they are a great addition.
These are the best painting tutorials out there but you should do loads more and fewer unboxings
i would also use this for warbeast from legion of everblight. does anyone think otherwise on how to paint warbeast from legion of everblight? Should i just paint them how they are on the box.
You guys missed just about every mold line on the model.
I’d use that wash method for the skin, but base the Carapace with Necron Abyss and mix in highlights on Mordian Blue and a bit of Ultramarine Blue for the larger creatures.
i .love washes im always amazed at their results. their the best gifts the gods of chaos ever bestowed
looks great. I might try and make a big vat of wash or use army painters dip to speed up the first step and just dunk the model 2 separate times. I bet that would look just as nice and really speed this up.
Where can i get A stand like that?
im impressed how u can get a sweet lookin model by using so few colors any1 can do it GJ
Why didn’t you use the clear floor polish? would it not work as well?
looks ausome have applyed this to around a quater of my army drags on a bit when your painting units of 24
Absolutely great job, Do more tutorials on painting please! I find them very helpful! Keep up the great job on this site!
Could you post this movie one more time. It seems that it’s no longer viewable…
