Epic Warpath Reinforcements Bring New Firepower To Every Faction
November 4, 2026 by avernos
With the new Warpath Universe Command Protocols book arriving in November, Mantic Games is also preparing a substantial wave of new Epic Warpath releases. Designed to coincide with the new expansion, these additions bring fresh vehicles, specialist troops and formidable battlefield support to all eight factions, giving existing armies plenty of new options while offering players some exciting ways to expand their forces.
All of the upcoming releases are brand new units for your Epic armies as Mantic move beyond what they funded in the Kickstarter and so while we have to wait to see the new Command Protocols book for the statlines and rules we can already see a lot of interesting new miniatures and unit choices to shake up the meta on your Epic gaming tables. Like the Armoured Company that hints at a new way to build GCPS forces that doesn't rely on ground pounders to make a legal army.
GCPS Armoured Company // Mantic Games
The human megacorporations of the GCPS are relentless in their pursuit of profit, resources and territorial dominance, and their private armies are always ready to take on the next lucrative contract. The new GCPS Armoured Company brings some serious hardware to the battlefield, with two Valiant tanks and six Lancer Jouster tank turrets cast in resin. Three hard-plastic GCPS Core Units sprues are also included, providing the tank hulls needed for the turret upgrades, alongside some bonus core units. It is a substantial armoured addition for commanders looking to bring the full weight of corporate military power to bear.
GCPS Reserves
GCPS arms factories continue to develop new equipment to protect corporate interests, and these reserves introduce three useful additions to the faction. Twelve Shocktroopers equipped with the Ursus augmented assault harness bring enhanced strength to the front line, while three Mule Broncos offer a more heavily armed alternative to the familiar transport, carrying a Type 25 Cannon with a choice of ammunition. Three TAD drones round out the set, providing commanders with light automated scouts capable of reconnaissance and harassing enemy positions.
Plague Reserves
Horrifying, infectious and monstrous, the Plague remains one of the most terrifying threats in the Warpath universe. This highly virulent alien bio-weapon can devastate entire colonies, with blockades, Deadzones and planetary isolation often the only means of containing its spread. The new Plague Reserves give commanders some particularly nasty additions, including twelve Teratons and four Slaughterbirds. Whether you're beginning a Plague force or looking to expand an existing army, these creatures bring plenty of fresh terror to the battlefield.
Nameless Reserves
The Nameless take a very different approach to warfare, relying on biological creations rather than technology as the rest of the galaxy understands it. Their forces range from swarms of flesh-eating creatures to enormous living weapons, with even their crystal weaponry forming part of this strange biological arsenal. The new reserves add three Toxotidae, two Lophitidae and two Bio-Plasma Artillery pieces, giving Nameless commanders some additional options for bringing their unusual and unsettling firepower to the fight.
Marauder Reserves
Since the distant days of the Mandrake Rebellion, Marauders have made their living as raiders and mercenaries on the fringes of the GCPS. Their armies combine heavy weapons, rugged vehicles and the sheer brute strength of the Gorans, all motivated by the promise of a profitable fight. This new reinforcement set adds a varied collection of battlefield hardware, with three Gruntbots, two Heavy Speeders, two Fighter Jets and a Marauder Bronco. It's a welcome boost for commanders looking to give their mercenary forces more mobility and firepower.
Forge Father Reserves
The Forge Fathers are an ancient and technically advanced civilisation, with the Star Realm renowned for its formidable armoured vehicle production. Their latest reinforcements bring a mixture of heavy firepower and battlefield mobility, including three Gungnir tank turrets, three Brokkr Landhaulers and three Heavy Inferno Drills. The Brokkr vehicles are commonly found on mining worlds, but with their military upgrades they make effective armoured personnel carriers. Meanwhile, the combined firepower of the Heavy Inferno Drills and Gungnir artillery provides a formidable addition to the Forge Father arsenal. A hard-plastic Core Units sprue is also included, supplying the hulls required for the tank turret upgrades.
Enforcer Reserves
The Enforcers are the ruthless and well-equipped agents of humanity's shadowy ruling council, with no expense spared when it comes to their training or battlefield equipment. Their latest reinforcements are designed to tackle a range of threats, from urban strongpoints to heavily armoured opponents. Three Ajax Siege Striders bring mechanical muscle to assaults on entrenched positions, while six Damantor Sniper Platforms provide long-range firepower against enemy armour. The set also includes two Victor MkII tanks, supplied with a choice of standard, Gatling or Electronic Warfare turrets, giving Enforcer commanders some welcome flexibility when choosing how to deploy their latest armoured assets.
Asterian Reserves
The Asterians bring together a distinctive range of fighting styles, from remote-operated drones and advanced weapon platforms to the warrior traditions of the Kalyshi and Matsudan. These new reinforcements strengthen several aspects of the faction, beginning with three Daidarabotchi, terrifying mechanical combat automatons that bring the Matsudan's brutal efficiency to the battlefield. Three Weapon Platforms and two Wight Interceptors provide additional support for the core Asterian military, while the Kalyshi receive a particularly impressive addition in the form of a Rai-Mega, accompanied by its crew. This gigantic creature is tamed and directed into battle by the fiercest Kalyshi scouts, making for a striking addition to the army.
Veer-myn Reserves
The Veer-myn lurk beneath the surface of the GCPS, spreading through the dark spaces of galactic industry and stowing away aboard ships to establish nests across the stars. When threatened, their tunnelling machines bring hordes of armed rodents bursting out from underground, ready to overwhelm their opponents with speed, cunning and sheer numbers. The new reserves add nine Rat Swarms to the faction, supported by two Virus Bombers and two Bombards. With their ramshackle technology and ability to turn discarded machinery and chemical waste into weapons, the Veer-myn have plenty of ways to make life difficult for anyone standing in their way.
Pre-order Your Epic Warpath Reinforcements
I love seeing Mantic working on Epic Warpath. It's great fun watching minis like the Gruntbots move from 28mm down to Epic, while at the same time the 8mm range can often give us a glimpse at things to come as we've seen this month with the Nameless release for Firefight and Deadzone. But not only are the minis a good way of expanding your force the choice of unit types will really change how you field your armies and command them on the tabletop. Fliers for Marauders and Veer-Myn and Armoured companies for GCPS are just a few of the examples of what Mantic are doing to keep Epic fresh as it moves into its second year, opponents will have to learn new ways to deal with the threat from across the table.
All of these new Epic Warpath releases are available to pre-order ahead of their November release, alongside the new Warpath Universe Command Protocols book. There are also some additional incentives for placing an order with Mantic: orders over £50 will receive a FREE copy of the Phrovox Enigma Short Story Anthology, while orders over £100 will also receive a FREE copy of the new Warpath Universe Command Protocols book.
Both offers are available while stocks last, so if you're planning to expand your Epic Warpath forces, now is a good time to take a look at the new releases.
