Help Raise Money For Legendary Wargaming Artist Karl Kopinski

If you've delved into pretty much any corner of wargaming, then you've probably seen the artwork of the legendary Karl Kopinski. Well, there is currently a Fundraising Campaign running over on MyMiniFactory to raise funds for the artist to help him recover from a stroke that hit him in early 2025.

The folks from Factory Fortress Inc., the creators of Trench Crusade, alongside a whole range of amazing creators, have come together in order to raise money to support Kopinski and allow him to continue his brilliant work throughout the industry. A total of twenty-four creators have come together, offering up STL files for those who back the campaign. Funds will be donated towards Karl's medical expenses...

"Whilst Karl has recovered from his stroke and his condition is stable it, and other medical incidents, were caused by Multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer that is treatable but not curable. All contributing creator profits will be donated to Karl’s ongoing medical expenses as well as associated costs such as transport to and from treatment. Additionally, the side effects of said treatment can be quite taxing and this support will also help cover periods where he is unable to work normally."

Miniatures as part of the fundraiser include the amazing Winged Hussar that you can see above, based on artwork by Karl Kopinski and sculpted by James Sherriff. There are plenty of more creators as part of this project, some of whom I've highlighted below.

This is by no means all of the creators who have got involved in this fundraiser. Twenty-four leading creators have put together a stunning bundle of 230 STL files for you to pick up and print at home. All in aid of one of the most influential artists in the hobby and, hopefully, if any excess is reached, to aid a charity that specialises in Kopinski's illness.
