Infinity with Bolt Action activation. Works well since you already have order markers for infinity that would then be put into a bag and drawn.

We have a store in Atlanta, Ga. called Giga-bites cafe that is the largest gaming store in the area but also serves food, and may serve beer in the future. The store has now moved to a larger location a 2nd time and is having a long wait for his food license but even during […]

I may have missed this earlier but apparently Matt Ward is no longer with GW. At least according to his Linked in profile. Also he has a new blog which appeared shortly after his departure last May.

Consider 6mm for Napoleonics Warren. Easier to paint and you can truly appreciate the grand scale of it all.

As far as game engines are concerned, look at how many games use the Warmaster engine:
1. Warmaster
2. Warmaster Ancients
3. Black Powder
4. Hail Caesar
5. Blitzkrieg Commander
6. Cold War Commander -

Your FLGS should be able to special order it. There is a hobby town near me that stocks it.

Also agree with the guy that mentioned Warlord from Reaper. They were the first to use the random mechanic for activation – identical to Bolt Action.

Regarding overwatch and 40k, I would suggest that the unit in overwatch have 3 choices: 1. Shoot only the unit that activated. 2. Assault only the unit that activated 3. Move, i.e. anything that counts as a move. For simplicity sake I would not allow individuals to go into overwatch because you have to deal […]

Those mummy swords do look a lot like the Roman gladius. Justin – you should have known that from “Spartacus”.

Some public companies are able to be customer-centric and still reward their shareholders. GW has not been able to make that work and continues to do anything to increase its bottom line in an effort to delight shareholders, not its customers.

How about experimenting with TO camouflage. Perhaps having an invisibile mini in the middle of transforming to visible as he/she is about to attack. Or a mini that is dressing into the TO suit. Another potential mini is a hacker working at a control panel where it is clear in the mini what the hacker […]

Mage Knight and Mechwarrior were probably the most successful collectable mini games along with Clix. Frankly, I don’t think Monsterapolcalypse was that good a game, plus it did not appeal to existing Privateer players. Also, the World at War, World at Sea series has done fairly well.
