This isn’t going to be long project. My daughter saw me looking at the model of Axel Tricklebrook and said he was cool. She asked if I could paint him for her. I bought him directly from Mantic. It’s been a long time since I spent  that much on a single figure and was a little intimidated about painting him. I am very much a slap chopper these days but I wanted to test myself. She wanted him pink so I set about “normal” painting. I even did a bit of wet blending.

I ordered pink paint to start. He comes in three parts so undercoated them with Grey Seer and lightly deybrushed the parts with white

I then used a very small selection speed paints to paint the three parts individually and glued them together. Then I added some sand and a few tufts to the base to finish.
