Sign in and create a Vimeo account to watch the XLBS?! Is this a permanent new hoop to get to the content from OTT? No more click on the new video and run from there on the website?
Tells me its private and I dont have persision to watch
i thinks this is an error
Vimeo want to verify my age and take data. That’s a no I’m afraid.
It’s automatically posted at a curtain time. It’s either the permissions are wrong or there hosting (vimeo) changed there settings. I have a vimeo account from years ago even logged in the video says private or doesn’t exist.
Have I missed something???
I think vimeo have changed there age verification policy and they host ott videos. But I could be wrong it could be a error.
I did the Vimeo photo based age verification but “Sorry you don’t have permission to watch”. I guess my weekend stops here.
Ah, well this is an unfortunate Sunday morning surprise… video not available?

Shiny Syndrome does two things: drain your wallet and clog your hobby space. And if it doesn’t then congratulations you have more disposable income and free space in your home than most of us. You won the game. Maybe shiny syndrome can be a virtue and a vice at the same time always depending on who is looking at it from what angle. My 3.5 cents. (inflation is everywhere)
Lovely GBs this week. Well done everyone.
Shiny Syndrome is a very interesting phenomenon. I love Ben’s approach to see it as a big positive. I’m not sure if it is quite the same when first experienced as the “still sparks joy” thing from your subsequent sorting out. That can be something I look into. I’m interested to see what the community make of this week’s topic.
Ok, now that things are fixed…
@avernos having an identity crisis this episode thinking you are Justin? Is this a side effect of the lead in the loft from toyr hoard?
@brennon I can swing my sword performed by Pellek just ran through my head on loop because of your gramd project.
Shiny syndrome is a boon a bane. The ouroboros of miniature turnover from one set of hands to another. Hunting new things is great as far as running around and “getting them” without needing to have in hand and then house the prize. Its like a spouse/significant other (dreadful term). Sure, there will always be new pretty ones out there, it’s a matter of getting what you want and then having quality time with them.

of course the sword has to be called : Stabby McStabFace 😉
Missed opportunity to call it : Glamsting or something
Justin was good this week, just not sure about his blue and green striped outfit….
Assuming the Shiny Syndrome is triggered by a miniature range or inspiring rules or media, one of the traps is to dive in and buy the kitchen sink of whatever it is.
So as an alternative, try before you buy, you can get free rules from Antiquity to now from the Likes of Peters Paper Boys and WoFun and One Page Rules.
So get a single pack of 1/72 for each side, or Peters Paper Boys.
So about £20, and if you can’t sort out setting up a game with a few packs of painted and based with scenary of a few packs of 1/72 or some scissors and prit stick what makes you think you’ll do it spending £200 or if it turns out it is a project you’ll pursue then fill your boots.
That thumbnail is chefs kiss level of fabulous!!
CROOM! Thanks guys.
And yes Jerry, that was Paolo’s Belit.
Also apreciative of Bens ‘Pile of Potential’ idea. It skind of my excuse anytime I dip into a Westfalia kickstarter and reminds me I should pull one out to paint for love instead of painting board game minis like a machine.
