Prepare Your Own Boot Hill Cemetery With Knuckleduster Miniatures

With Halloween fast approaching, companies are looking towards the spooky releases that you can use in your wargames. Knuckleduster Miniatures are doing just that with a preview of their new Boot Hill Cemetery set that should be available nice and early, ahead of Halloween.

This set represents one of the iconic Boot Hill Cemeteries that are dotted around Wild West frontier towns and tourist traps that you might frequent on your travels. "Boot Hill" was a well-used name for all manner of cemeteries around the Old West but folks will also be aware of them from movies like Tombstone, The Magnificent Seven, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral and more.

There are plenty of meanings behind the Boot Hill Cemeteries, from the romanticised one of cowboys "dying with their boots on" through to them being places where vagrants and unfortunates were buried, especially those who had no one to claim their effects, namely their clothes and boots.

This set will come with plenty of wooden graves, including some that will be blank so you can scrawl on them in "chalk".

You'll also get the fence and gate sections so you can build a small, medium or large graveyard depending on how many of these sets you pick up (or print). You've also got the characterful stones that would be placed above these graves and a set of miniatures administering the last rites to some poor fellow.

This would be great as a bit of set dressing for your Wild West wargames (we're doing a lot of that right now!) or you could use it as the focal point of your next spooky scenario. There are plenty of excellent Wild West miniatures with a bit of an undead twist. Maybe you should send the lads up the hill to make sure the dead stay in the ground?

This Boot Hill set will be coming soon and is likely to be available as both an STL set for 3D printing and in physical form in a Snap Tray.
