Raid Black Site Studios’ New Super Yacht Terrain Piece

If you're looking to play out an awesome movie-themed skirmish on the tabletop, perhaps with a modern criminal or military twist, you might want to check out this new terrain piece from the folks at Black Site Studios. What do you make of the lavish Aphrodite Super Yacht?

Designed for 28mm and 32mm scale wargames, The Aphrodite splits down into separate layers making it easy for you to play your games on it. It also features an opening helicopter landing pad so you can use it for storage on the bow. It features tinted interiors to give you a bit of colour on the interior as well.

This seems primed for a Bond-style skirmish where he fights his way to the cabin of the billionaire owner and playboy. Either that or Jason Bourne is about to has a flash of reality and then get shot and fall overboard. Whatever Pulp-style adventure you play out on this, it's going to be a lot of fun.

The multi-level nature of The Aphrodite is what really sells it for me. I like that it feels exceptionally luxurious and could make for interesting games as you navigate tight corridoors and try and get the drop on the enemy before they get the drop on you.

With it comes to scale and size, The Aphrodite comes in at 45" x 9" x 16" so it's a fairly hefty bit of kit. It does come fully painted so you're not going to have to do much work to this beyond building it. The Super Yacht itself is split into eleven sections and comes with additional accessories like...

There is definitely going to be a haphazard knife fight in the kitchen and then the unfortunate billionaire playboy and super villain will meet his end in the hot tub. The secret agent will then blow up the yacht at the end for good measure!

The MV Australis is very much your classic tanker that is going to be overrun by terrorists and needs dealing with. The Aphrodite is decidedly less subtle of a vessel but no less threatening to international stability! Go hunt that AI head honcho using technology to bend the world to his will and make sure he meets an end in the briney deep! Eat the rich!
