I own a new space Hulk box. But not cut one Miniature of the sprue. Would like to paint and use the Terminators. But They are so rare and valuable. Want not to cramp them with a bad paint-job. So they are kept in the box since i am a master painter – this means forever *echoed* forever….forever….forever…………*fadeout*
Bring back the glory days!! I couldn’t agree more!! Its this kind of game that will also bring fresh blood into the gaming world! And those on a lower budget. I still have all my old games to play with my son as he grow but what will the world of GW hold for him once he starts wanting to go to the store? 40k or Warhammer? Sad times when the Grandfarther of Wargames has only two worthy titles!
Great points well made about how a good UNLIMITED boxed game can provide an easy way into the hobby.
Is it coincidence that GW plc period of greatest growth was when they supported a wide range of boxed games.(1992 to 1998)
And GW plcs worst period of declining sales volumes was after they only supported core games.(2005-2011)?
I don’t think I have thanked you in the previous turn 8 for keeping the enthusiastic cheers checked, I thank you today for this one and the previous one.
Good ideas on WHQ, allthough I much prefered HeroQuest personally. As for SH, I always wanted to see a Necron tombship style setting with Necrons in creepy stasis pods on the sides of the corridors – just waiting for a marine to walk down there and get a metallic arm smash out the pod-glass and grab the marine!

When you say that you are gonna make a Opensource community, you just make me so freaking happy!!!
That’s what any rulebook should be 🙂

Generally I hate limited Editions.

As a gamer I see these events as being related.
