Of Epic Proportions (spring clean challenge 26)
Is it too late to start a second project?
With the changing of editions there has been some disillusion with 40k among the younger people at work. This seems to happen with every edition or rules change, but talk has been different this time, something else is in the air, ECW.
This is a period I’ve always enjoyed but know very little about really, so the chance to play it seems to good to miss.
So in a nook, in the corner of the studio is an old box full of sprues and models of Warrlords English Civil War models, from about 17 years ago when I thought about playing it, and had the spare money.
So I swear upon the death mask of Oliver Cromwell by the rising of the sun on midsummer morn I pledge to have painted…….
… no more pledges or over the top gestures, or at least just yet.. but I did build a musket fella.
My plan is to paint him along side the other models and not to get too distracted from finishing the Vostroyans.*
*for those that have followed this blog and wondered what happened to the inquistor, he has been undercoated… That’s about it.
