UNSC Marines Finally Arrive

One of the most frequently requested additions to Halo: Flashpoint has been the inclusion of regular UNSC Marines, and Mantic has finally answered the call.

The new plastic set introduces Marine fireteams supported by specialists including snipers, medics, and communications personnel. Joining them is Spartan Tomas Horvath, a key figure in the Battle for Zeta Halo.

The arrival of Marines significantly expands UNSC list-building options, offering a more traditional military force to complement the Spartans, ODSTs, and named heroes already available.

Grunts and Jackals Join the Banished

The Banished receive equally significant reinforcements with the arrival of two fan-favourite species: Unggoy Grunts and Kig-Yar Jackals.

Accompanied by a commanding Sangheili Enforcer, the new plastic set showcases the mixed-species nature of Banished warbands. These troops bring more variety to the faction while reinforcing the brutal military structure established by Warmaster Atriox.

For longtime Halo fans, this release marks one of the most anticipated additions to the game's miniature range.

Spartan Killers Enter the Battlefield

The headline release for collectors may be the new Spartan Killers set.

Featuring Jega 'Rdomnai alongside the formidable Jiralhanae brothers Hyperius and Tovarus, this special issue box introduces some of the most feared warriors encountered during the Battle for Zeta Halo.

These miniatures are notable not only for their in-universe reputation but also for their physical scale. Mantic describes them as the largest MasterCraft Halo: Flashpoint miniatures produced to date.

Unlike the standard releases, this premium set will be produced in limited annual quantities, making it one of the more collectable additions to the range.

Fireteam Grizzly Returns

Veteran players may recognise another familiar release among the new offerings.

With the War Games expansion being retired, the Spartan models previously contained in that box are returning as Fireteam Grizzly, a dedicated miniature set that allows players to purchase the Spartans separately.

The move makes these popular models more accessible to new players while providing existing collectors with an easier way to expand their forces.

A Growing Halo Battlefield

The September releases demonstrate just how far Halo: Flashpoint has evolved since launch. What began as a Spartan-focused skirmish game is rapidly becoming a comprehensive tabletop representation of the Halo universe, with conventional troops, alien auxiliaries, elite heroes, and legendary villains all sharing the battlefield.

For UNSC commanders, the arrival of Marines finally brings the backbone of humanity's military to the tabletop. For Banished players, Grunts, Jackals, and Spartan Killers add both variety and character to an already formidable faction.

Combined with the incoming 1.5 rules update, these releases mark one of the biggest expansions Halo: Flashpoint has seen to date—and perhaps the clearest sign yet that the battle for Zeta Halo is only just getting started.
