If “all the bad news” gets to you (to any of you) stop using social media. I’ve stopped using Facepage and Tweet0r last week and it’s much of a stress relief. Getting news only through well known sources helps a lot.

Holy moly. It’s nearly another weekend. What was this week’s pledge… I’m not sure?

Was it to print all the parts? I think I managed that. Or did I pretend I’d actually get some paint on them? In which case, I’ve failed miserably. I wish I’d pledged to have a laugh shoving LEDs into things. Here’s a 32mm scale DeLorean with nice, bright, light-up LED headlights:

Ooooh! Its so shiny! I’d say hit it with a layer of gloss black and then Alclad aluminum paint through an airbrush but its more of a matte brushed steel. A very cool model indeed.

Soon enough I’ll be hitting hobby hard as I got the news od involuntary layoff for a couple of weeks. Being a temp sucks.

I was thinking of just drybrushing the life of out it, silver, so I could add brighter silver edge highlights, then repaint the windows black and add in some reflections and stuff. I’ve no idea what I’m doing. It’s why I put more effort into the things I know I can do, like fancy electronics everywhere 😉
