April 28, 2026 at 1:20 am #1972499April 28, 2026 at 5:21 am #1972502I just looked for the Hasslefree Miniatures website and although it says they are not closed, there’s no way to buy anything.

@pagan8th seems like they have some “troubles with the site” according to a screenshot from Facepage April 7th

And then there is a thread on them on the lead adventurers forum from 2024 which doesn’t sound very comforting XD
April 28, 2026 at 9:19 am #1972509April 28, 2026 at 6:20 pm #1972586I can’t even get that page. I get a blank white page and the system just cycles. So bummed as they are my favorite sculpts.
April 28, 2026 at 6:58 pm #1972594Works for me. (And with works I mean it’s showing that blue button)
But looking at the code, the last update must have been around February 2026 (That’s the version of the shopping plug in woocommerce there)
April 28, 2026 at 7:31 pm #1972609As I understand it, Hasslefree have been struggling to fill orders for several years now. It seems that they are a two-person operation and one of them has been having recurring health issues. They appear to be on their last legs, but they don’t want to give up.
It’s a pity because they have a great line of miniatures. I’d love to see them sell the range on to someone who can keep it going, or at least get some help running things.

And a…what’s the collective noun for a group of robots with skulls for heads? Anyway, Spartoi from Crooked Dice.
June 19, 2026 at 9:45 pm #1977834Hi, everyone! I’ve been painting a lot of WHF/TOW miniatures lately, but I’m also spending a little time on “This Quar’s War.”
Here’s a photo of the latest ones I painted (there are some converted miniatures, and some of their gear is my own creation).

I’ve been a player of Burrows and Badgers first Edition. I was a bit at a loss when the Second Edition came out. Especially since I’ve stopped ordering anything in the UK for a while (when ordering from France, you get some toll taxes which up the ante by 25%, not counting the shipping…). So it seemed Second Ed would not come for a long time for me…
But, in April came THE solution : I went to Salute (and what a blast it was!). And so I could buy my Second Ed (and have Michael Lovejoy to sign my copy at the same time…). And since my two older warbands are in some cardboxes, waiting for my new gaming room to see the light, I also bought a new warband (and some reinforcements for the other two… And some asides… Yes, my minis budget when up this Spring…).
It took me some time to paint them up, but here they are!
The Noble Hearts of King Redwulf!!!
And the reinforcements when the warband can afford them!

As I said earlier, I also bought some reinforcements for my old warbands. I painted some of those to have some NPCs for the new edition (the Evil Mage, the runaway, the Thief and the Road Warden).

Hope you like these. Let me know if someone is interested in some more pictures…
