FireForge Games Prepare New Plastic Camel Cavalry For Kickstarter

FireForge Games is coming to Kickstarter soon with some new plastic miniatures for those wanting to bring Camelry to the tabletop for your Historical wargames! There are going to be some great 28mm scale figures for you to choose from that work very nicely alongside the rest of their range.

The Kickstarter campaign will feature new hard plastic kits for their camels and the Berber Camelry. There are already some neat previews for you to choose from, which will allow you to build warriors on the back of their camels as well as some Camel Caravans which you might need to protect on the road.

I think these look great and it's awesome that FireForge are doing these as plastic kits so that you've got plenty of options for customising them and bringing together different elements from other kits in order to make them fit into your chosen game, be that a Historical wargame or something more Fantasy or Sci-Fi-based.

The Camelry set will contain enough bits to make eight Berbers, Arabs or Tuaregs on camels, armed with spears, swords or bows. You can also have them sitting in the classic way or cross-legged with appropriate saddles.

You also have the Camel Caravan, which is going to be another brilliant set for crafting interesting scenes on the tabletop.

I really like the idea of crafting some cool scenarios with these where your Camel riders have to fight against attacking Crusaders who are trying to disrupt your supply lines by raiding the caravan. You could create some cool battlefields based around that too, either on the desert road or near an oasis, which has proven to be a good stopping point for the caravan.

The Kickstarter campaign is just around the corner, so if you're looking for some good Camelry, then you've not got long to wait.
