Pick Up Wargames Atlantic’s New Barons’ War Supplement, King John

Wargames Atlantic has released their new supplement for The Barons' War, their 28mm scale Medieval wargame. King John is now available, expanding your options for playing out Medieval skirmishes on the tabletop.

The Barons' War and the King John supplement covers the turbulent reign of the monarch and brings it to the tabletop. With barons rising to challenge the king, resulting in the signing of the Magna Carta and factions rising in Wales and Scotland, looking for signs of weakness across the lands of England, this is a prime time to dive into some interesting storytelling on the tabletop.

The book updates the Feudal European retinue list and introduces six more factions into the game. You'll get access to the Welsh, Scottish, Poitevins, Flemish, alongside Mercenaries and Outlaws.

You will also find lots of rules for the various dramatis personae that will be well-known from the period. You could play as King John himself, William Marshal, King Philip Augustus or perhaps even the folkloric Robin Hood and the Merry Men.

There are also ten historical scenarios included in the book, which cover the reign of King John. You'll be able to follow his clashes in the Welsh Marshes and some of the massive battles like that at Bouvines or the climactic clash at Lincoln.
