Manda’s (Amachan) Infinity

I added an interesting detail to the base of Helen of Troy, HVT model for Corvus Belli Infinity.

Here is the start of my new scenic photography base for my sci-fi/cyberpunk basing style and also a mess on my desk. Not the cleanest texture, but I think I can work with it.

That’s all the acrylic base layers done on Helen of Troy, HVT model for Corvus Belli Infinity. I am quite happy with the face, which looks a lot better in real life than though the camera.

Almost 8 years ago I painted 4 miniatures for Corvus Belli’s Infinity, where has the time gone?

Even though I haven’t painted any more in those 8 years I haven’t stopped collecting. I have a sizeable army for both the Nomads and PanOceania in beautiful unpainted metal. And a week or so ago I added a whole bunch more to that pile with the plans of finally doing something about its bare metallic state.

The thing that has mostly been holding me back is me going back and forth about how to paint them, how to base them and I never came to a conclusion. Well, I finally did. I have a paint scheme in mind and will share that as soon as I have finalized it for both factions. And for the base, I decided that the basing that I am planning on using for my revitalized Dark Angels is actually just a good sci-fi basing scheme. For Infinity it will obviously include less skulls and a couple of different pieces of rubbish. But the overall style and colour scheme of the base will be the same.

For the Nomads I am mainly focussing on the Tunguska Jurisdictional Command. But since I also have some interest in the Bakunin Jurisdictional Command some of that will also show up as I will most likely make a list for them as well.

For PanOceania the main focus will be on the Svalarheima’s Winter Force, but plenty of neutral models will show up to fill the gaps. Some other sectorials will appear as well as I have the models and some of those can be used for a standard PanOceania list rather than a sectorial one.

Apart from that mercenaries and HVT models are also in the pipeline and for the rest, we’ll see what I feel like picking up in the near future.

That is all the PanOceania mini’s painted for now. I will definitely buy more and expend it to a full army list, because the miniatures are so awesome to paint.
