Games Workshop swaps back to the Orks this week, previewing another new miniature from the upcoming Warhammer 40,000 Armageddon boxed set, kicking off the 11th Edition of the game.

Ork Weirdboy - Warhammer 40K

Ork Weirdboy // Warhammer 40,000

The new Ork Weirdboy channels the oddness and whackiness that you get from the Orks and those amongst their kind who dabble with the Warp. They channel the energies raging around them into crackling green lightning or glowing vomit. Sounds lovely.

You'll see that this particular Weirdboy is fitted with a contraption on his back and a special staff which allows them to somewhat control their powers. A Weirdboy can be just as much of a threat to their fellow Orks as their enemies.

The new miniature from the Armageddon boxed set showcases that moment as the Ork unleashes its power on the enemy, turning Space Marines and Guardsmen into pools of bubbling goo. I think that we're going to be seeing a lot of folks doing some fun conversions with this particular Ork Weirdboy.

As well as the new miniature, you will also be able to check out more rules previews for Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition later this week as Games Workshop talk about the updates to the Fight Phase.

What do you make of the new Ork Weirdboy?

"The new Ork Weirdboy channels the oddness and whackiness that you get from the Orks and those amongst their kind who dabble with the Warp.."
