As part of my learning to paint, I figured I’d try adapting the Army Painter approach of undercoating with the main colour and building on top of that. Which seems a perfect fit to try with a Red Team, Blue Team Colour Scheme, with the dark colour to serve as the base coat and then paint up the armour with the light colour.

I then painted the base coat, painting by hand, and blu-tack securing them on craft sticks from The Works which has a neat little pack with dozens, if ever I want to build some planking terrain as an aside.

Getting some hobbying done, and despite procrastinating showing the basics  can be done in a day.

Not a grand epic all encompasing pile of shame completed, but just enough finished up to get some gaming down without being embarrased by unpainted minis.

For a while, I’ve not done some hobbying, as I had it locked in my head I needed to clear my hobby room. Starting with the main table, then my painting station.

But what I reflected on it, all I need is my painting area clear. So that’s what I’ve now done, with the table all still cluttered, doesn’t matter my as hobby area is clear, and I can crack on.
