Warhammer is currently that unique primate: accessible, not overly expensive (thanks to other companies raising THEIR prices), and near-universal availability.

I think any hobby / interest has its 500 pound gorilla that somehow manages to be the one thing that dominates.
It can help attract outsiders due to its visibility, but it can also scare folk away as there may be things that they may enjoy more if only they could see it.

I genuinely hope some company like say Crooked Dice grabs these ranges in whole or part – there are so many that Karl could merge into 7TV – the Scooby-Doo and Shaun of the Dead alone are instant come to mind ranges.
