Lovely Gremlins Scamper Into Warp Miniatures’ ArcWorlde!

The Gremlins are now leaping and scampering their way into the Fantasy realm of ArcWorlde from Warp Miniatures. Brought to life through crowdfunding, this new set of lovely miniatures for ArcWorlde are ready to cause mischief on the tabletop with a Starter Warband and more.

Gremlin Starter Warband // ArcWorlde

We kick things off with the Gremlin Starter Warband, which gives you a great starting point for those diving into ArcWorlde. Who would have thought it! The set comes in metal or resin and is packed with a wonderful array of 32mm scale miniatures.

Gremlin Scamps // ArcWorlde

Gremlins within ArcWorlde are cheeky pilferers. They rob sheep and other livestock from folks, nick as much Arcanite as they can get their hands on and excel when it comes to hit-and-run ambushes. They aren't particularly skilled as fighters but the numbers they can bring to bear can make the difference.

The Starter Warband comes with a Great Gremlin to lead the way, seven Gremlin Scamps and then one Spitlizard.

More Gremlins

There are more Gremlins for you to choose from as part of the range (again available in metal and resin). I thought I'd pick out just three of the miniature packs that caught my eye.

Gremlin Shaman // ArcWorlde

Another of the characters that has been added into the mix is the Shaman. They consume a lot of strange, noxious herbs and fungi, which give them visions of the future. When the Gremlins go into battle, the Shamans' portents are at the forefront of their mind and they can clobber people with their staff or unleash magical attacks from afar.

If you like the idea of bopping people on the head, then you could run some of the Trophy Takers.

Gremlin Trophy Takers // ArcWorlde

The Trophy Takers are the most deadly of the clan's warriors. They cover themselves in trinkets that they have taken from their foes and wield weapons made of sharp bone and stone. They are very good at lopping off heads with their weapons and then taking the skulls back to their masters!

Lastly, I picked out the rather hefty Jungle Troll, who is going to be wading into the fighting as some much-needed muscle for the Gremlins.

Jungle Troll // ArcWorlde

Jungle Trolls are big, lumbering additions to the Gremlin force that have long, claw-tipped arms that allow them to swing through the trees with ease. They are a little more mild-mannered compared to their cousins but should you anger them, they will be just as brutal in close combat. I really like the orangutan-style of the miniature, which also means that I hope he has a song or two to sing should you go visit him.
