Dropfleet Gothic...
Painting up some dropfleet commander ships to use as stand ins for Mechanicum ships.
Sponging time!
Another easy technique this one, sponge application. Lightly dab a sponge in some paint and sponge sponge away! Started with the darker Siena, then the bright rust after. Don’t put too much paint on the sponge, otherwise you get big splooges of paint lol.
Painting the WAAAGGGHHHH
Easy scheme this, spray black, then mist with silver, mist with brown, then silver again, then a bit more brown. Then I highlighted some bits with boltgun metal, then a wash of nuln oil. Next will be the orange for the rust. Then to just blacken the bases.
