Armoured Clash Two-Player Set Incoming! Scouring Of Singapore
September 28, 2026 by brennon
Warcradle Studios is taking pre-orders for the brand-new 10mm scale Armoured Clash Two-Player Introductory Set, The Scouring of Singapore. Lined up for release in November, this is an impressive new set which sees you picking between the Crown and the Empire with a buddy.
The Scouring of Singapore // Armoured Clash
The Scouring of Singapore focuses in on a campaign which is a mainstay of a lot of Warcradle Studios' introductory sets, guiding you into playing the game over the course of a series of games. You'll choose between one of the two great powers of the Dystopian Age with everything that you need to get started in Armoured Clash.

All of this is done with some brilliant, high-quality plastic miniatures for both sides. I particularly like the Heroes of the Crown and the Heroes of the Empire that you get for both sides, adding in some character to the ongoing affair and highlighting some of the major personalities as well as the rank-and-file troops.

Heroes of the Empire // Armoured Clash
Both sides get some seriously fun miniatures for you to play with, including those neat vehicle commanders that you can drop in. I think those are a brilliant touch alongside the rest of the on-foot heroes for the Crown and the Empire.

You then have all of the miniatures that you saw above in the contents of the box, ready and waiting to be painted. There are a huge number of miniatures per side, which means that you've got plenty to be getting stuck into as a new player beyond just your initial games.
Biao Flak Launcher // Armoured Clash
Bulnabang Winged Infantry // Armoured Clash
Green Banner Platoon // Armoured Clash
Jianhuren Terracotta Automata // Armoured Clash
Jindouyun Steambikes // Armoured Clash
Jezzail Team // Armoured Clash
Yan Shou Flame Tank // Armoured Clash
There's plenty for both the Empire and the Crown. I guess the real problem is going to be working out which one of you is going to be picking which side you want. The 10mm miniatures from Armoured Clash are pretty darn awesome and so if you're just picking on vibes, you might be in a bit of a sticky situation.
That's something of a heavy focus on the previews of what you get for the Empire above but if you keep an eye out for more in the future, we'll have a bit of a nosey at what the Crown has to offer for the Scouring of Singapore as well.
Horse Guard Cavalry // Armoured Clash
Mordred Heavy Artillery // Armoured Clash
Tristan Assault Transport // Armoured Clash
One of the major selling points of these introductory sets from Warcradle is that they are a proper entry point into their games. As well as all of the miniatures, you'll also get plenty of terrain, some of which you can see here...
Dystopian Rural Terrain // Armoured Clash
...but also all of the Rules & Gubbins that are essential for someone diving into the game.
Rules & Gubbins // Armoured Clash
This is on top of the eightly miniatures, the heroes that we showed off above and the various build options therein for someone who might be coming at Armoured Clash from the semi-veteran side of things too. Maybe you already have Armoured Clash armies but they're now Crown or Empire? Well, this could be a good excuse to start both of those armies.
I can see plenty of folk splitting this with a friend in terms of cost and contents and then going for it with the game. I think it would be rather hard for me to pick a side. I do like the Crown and their classic British Empire look but there's something about the mysticism that lies behind a lot of the designs in the Empire that makes them very tempting. You could also get away with just laying down a lot of jade and terracotta!
Are you tempted to dive into Armoured Clash with The Scouring of Singapore?

*looks at the pile of unopened AC boxes*
*sighs*
I need more time!
I was just painting the raj, with empire samurai on pre order, and then……I likely will to add to the original box sets, it would be rude not to but I’m pretty sure this seals the deal on my choice of factions.
ironically I have an eye test tomorrow, maybe they can install me a set of lenses…..
