Bob Finally does Silver Bayonet
For an Alternative 'Flintloque'
There are a few videos on YouTube of people using Old Flintloque figures by Alternate Armies for Silvsr Bayonet. It may not suprise you to know they are still available on tbeir website. Now you can just use odd figures for various alt monsters and Beasties for standard SB or you can as Keith ,has from our group intends to completely replace the participants with Alt Flintloque figures. He already has a large collection, wbich he added about 70 painted figures last Sunday at Penkridge Warboot, were we bumped into and caught up with OTT Ben .
As we were planning another Silver Bayonet, it seemed a shame not to use his new figures. Forces were Orks (British) led by Lt Shark, vs Elves ( French) led by Capitaine Pepe Le Pugh.
Didnt archive it but it was nearly a French Bloodbath. I have to say the figures felt slighltly more fitting for tbe game and would be right up both Ben’s and Gerry’s Tree.
Here are a few shots if game:
One note of interest in tbe Game, the forces were less specialist, as is found in Northwind force boxes, actually within recruitment points for starter forces wjth mainly mainstream, Rifles,L.Infanry, Voltigeurs and Infantry, with the odd Grenadier Gunner and Sapper. Both players found this easier to handle than the specalist forces particularly for learning games.
