"The galaxy is the Emperor's, and anyone or anything who challenges that claim is an enemy who must be destroyed."

I fancied something a little different to print and paint, as I usually just do dungeon crawler stuff to play with mates once in a blue moon. Saw some lovely sculpts from the Red makers that a lot of people […]

My first 40k army in at least a decade. Theme: as many converted models, humour, and who cares if I ever win.

Imperial assault and other random models to be used in star grave and core space campaigns

I wanted the new cultist models for use in Stargrave. I got those minis for my birthday. I started watching Blackstone Fortress videos, got enticed by the shiny models and solo potential gameplay and found a place selling the core […]

Painting up some Catachan Jungle Fighters & basing up the Models

A project about my journey back into the hobby after a long nearly 2 year period of really really sparse hobby related activities. Thanks World of Warcraft Classic release and, maybe to a lesser extent Covid.

Every year I make some kind of hobby pledge, I don't always do so publicly, just to myself. But I make them to keep me motivated and to an extent, focused, so that I can start painting some of the […]

"Iron Within, Iron Without!" With the new 30K Edition coming out/just released I've decided to finally get around to painting my Iron Warriors.

A log for all my Infinity projects, new and old, as I try and clear the backlog whilst staying on top of releases (yes, yes, stop laughing at the back)....

I have many other projects so I thought I would lump all my other random stuff into one to stop this getting out of hand. I'm going to start with some stargrave but this could go anywhere from there.

One painter trying to stay motivated as he works through his Sisters of Battle backlog. They may never make it to the table but I want to have them done! This project will hopefully encourage me and hold me accountable.

It took my FGS (not local) 175 days to get me the copy of Bot War. This project will be the record of what I will do with it. I will mirror this project on my blog but in German. […]

My 3rd year working with the Nova Open Charitable Foundation or NOCF. And 2nd year painting up an Infinity army that was generously donated by Corvus Belli.

A record of my Chaos Knight army from unboxing to build to eventually tie in and play against my Imperial Knights

With the upcoming release of HH 2.0, I've picked up some bits to use in an army. Mostly unmade models from the 2 older boxsets. But will be using the new/old 40K models where correct to do so.

I decided to dive deeper into Battletech and wanted to pick two factions I liked the look and sound of. On top of that, I am building a complete gaming experience for myself by also constructing a table to play […]

From the community that keeps giving… inspiration has arrived in the form of Joseph A. McCullough’s Stargrave. I’ve loads of sci-fi miniatures so as a second quick Spring Clean (2022) I’m creating a playable crew for Stargrave based on the […]

A few years back Justin showed off his Gunpla kit and made it sound like building one would be fun. I've never gotten in to Gundam and have too much other stuff to build so I've not looked in to […]

A spring clean delve into my 2000AD games old and new with a mission to theme some terrain for the different games.

Even though I am not a fan of the current rules, I have always loved the lore and I have always had a soft spot for The Emperor's Children. I have owned every model released so far (Sadly do not […]

A while back a couple of friends became interested in Inq28. GWs old Inquisitor 54 game but in 28mm and with conversions and scratch builds. Talking about it we thought a swamp world would be a cool setting. I had […]

Started kitbashing some prospectors for the new Stargrave expansion. Had the idea of using Bolt Action russian winter soldiers as a kitbash base for Stargrave. The prospectors, armed with tools in the game, gave me the excuse to have some […]
