About the Project

This project is to record my progress in my ventures in Lyonesse. I backed the Kickstarter in 2014, that was also the time I discovered this fantastic community after watching the Let's plays on BOW. In 2017 I attended the Wolsung Bootcamp at OTT/BOW HQ and had a realy great time. Through the years I collected (almost) every model available in this beautiful range and I painted about 2/3 of them.

Last friday I played a game of Wolsung with my friend. It was the first game in a realy long time, but was very nice. We built up the table with most of my scenery I have available for Wolsung. I still have some buildings I have to put together and some unfinished projects, so in the near future there will be more options for scenery.

I also made some group pictures of my finished models.

My Ven Rier faction is coming along nicely. I painted two ghouls and six zombies.

This means I only have 3 models to go to finish my Ven Rier faction.

I also finished my last model for the Scylla faction: Julia Vendetta.

I’ve been painting some more Ven Rier models.

Jonathan Wormwood was feeling a bit lonely so I painted his little friend Ursula.

I also painted a Ogre Zombie

I’ve painted some Wolsung models.

First up: Jonathan Wormwood from the Ven Rier faction.

Next uo is a Security golem from the Inventors faction.

And I painted a Zitrone “Dime”. It’s scenery but can also be used in game to transport figures around the table and do drive-by shootings.

It’s been a while since I updated this project. I finished (except for maybe some weathering) the 3 story Block of Flats by Micro Art Studios.

First a comparison between the smaller and the bigger BoF, it’s made up out of two model kits.

Here are some pictures of the exterior.

And some pictures of the interior. Wallpaper and wooden floors all around.

The last couple of weeks I did a little bit of printing, the second level of the hull is now finished.

The rest of my time I spent on a new table which I built with my friend/neighbour.

The last couple of weeks I’ve been printing the airship. It still isn’t finished completely but I’m making some progress. The blimp is complete (and weighs in at 2050 grams). The 1st level of the hull is complete except for the interior walls. The 3rd level of the hull is also complete except for the railings. Here are some pics with a Wolsung mini for scale.

I need to fill some gaps before I can paint the airship. I think I will use Milliput for this. If anybody has a better idea, please let me know.

Also I have built a block of flats, I bought two kits at Micro Art Studios. I have split them up in a 1-story and 3-story building. The smallest of the two is finished. For the larger building I need more coffeestirrers for the wooden floor on the ground level. So on monday I’ll have an office day (I work at a coffee company) and take some home with me :-).

This evening I started a new print for the airship. It’s a part of the blimp and takes 56 hours to complete. I already printed some parts last week.
