This is my Air-mobile project posted and is a follow on from my previous B E F 2239 project using more 40k marines again for an Air-mobile force.(Just like the looked of the Models thought they suit what I pictured In my mind)

START BUILDING AIR ESCORT X-2 FOR TROOP CARRIER.
These two escorts can be called for Ground support that is why the escorts have been fitted with different missile load out, but both fitted with infantry suppressing /destroying guns.
AIR WING COMPLETE NOW FOR COLOUR.
A very simple colour scheme was chosen, being the old green pattern, elf green from army painter was used, engines basic metal paint and bronze both from army painter.
SO NOW TO ADD SOME DECALS AND GIVE THEM AN IDENTITY.
I have always loved the WW2 aircraft nose art, but saw the playing cards on the green stuff decal sheet and thought yes the “Old death from above”. So I chose them for the nose art, decals from Bolt action for the airborne insignia on the tail and the aircraft Id /call sign on the tail from the same green stuff decal sheet and some tank destroyed decals.
BUILD OF MY TROOPS
So Troops, built a squad of ten men with lieutenant , Sergeant, signaller and 7 troops using a mixture of infiltrators and incursors then black primed,
MINIS BUILT, NOW TO PAINT
Well has you can now guess a very simple paint scheme was chosen because i only do simple, green armour, brown leather pouches but decided to go with the red helmets to show airborne so red berry replacements then a good wash all over….simple’s!
