Brill love the game, got it on Kickstarter. can’t wait for the new and upcoming new ships, a fleet is not a fleet until you have everything for all of them lol.

After the Avenger, I can’t wait to see what Dave does with a 3d dropfleet table. I might suggest instead of wood, use clear Acrylic for the cross pieces and supports (think of the thick stock they use for huge aquariums)

All the factions for this game are very pretty.
It’s a hard choice, however every PHR ship is beautiful and I want them all.
I don’t play Dropzone nor Dropfleet, but it’s always interesting to hear Dave. He seems like a very nice guy.

They really are nice boxes though. That art would make a great poster/print/wallscroll/tapestry.

I am totally in love with Dropfleet after watching Jason’s interviews and games with Andy! I’m seriously interested in that perspex topped terrain table! Might have to make one of them for the club!

The 3d model idea is very interesting, notching up the game presentation which as gamers is always cool to pimp your scenery.

I love Dropfleet but it is hard find others to play with in my area. I have starter set that sits on my shelf and it is pretty to look at least.
That 3d relief board is an awesome idea. I might have to look into something like that.
Just picked up the 2 player starter earlier in the show, having the ships in hand really love the look of them more and more. now I just have to actually start playing at some point.

I agree with rgreenparadox. I think using a clear material for the cross pieces would have really set the table up nicely without the grid distraction. Still looked awesome though and is a great idea. Love the game mechanics on Dropfleet, especially the signature / sensor aspect to weapon ranges. Definitely PHR all the way though.

Just recently bought Dropzone Commander, those games are amazing!

I wish they got their hands on the oldschool Babylon 5 IP and made a game out of that. They got the talent to make it epic.

I love Dropzone, I’ve been playing it since the Resistance faction was released. Before they came out I was stuck debating which army to get, now with Dropfleet not having a resistance faction I have the same problem that I did before…
The tournament fleet idea is awesome – nicely done again Hawk! Bundles that save the customer a bit of cash is exactly how you keep gamers on your side!

I really like figures from Dropzone and Dropfleet Commander.
With both DZC and DFC, Hawk is one of my favourite gaming companies.
The models for both systems are great, and with a 2nd Edition of DZC coming soon the company should push on.

You guys turned my head befote with this game, i love all the scupts and cant nock any. My real favorite out of thw range has to be the fleet assets, those tiny little fighters and bombers are so awesome. I love to see some sifferent faction ones in the future.
Even the artwork on those boxes are amazing, while im a big fan of the ucm and have a mini fleet myeslf those PHR vessels are awesome.
Dave is massively generous as usual, such a great guy and company. Definitely one of my favorites. Id love to see more content from companies like this, keep up the good work!

Hawk’s artwork has always been good but the new Battlefleet boxes take the standard up another notch – they are eye-catching and awe-inspiring at the same time. The new pattern battlecruisers are gorgeous!

Love the idea of the 3d Dropfleet Table. However, I would use clear acrylics instead of white wood for it’s supporting framework. I will be following it’s development & progress with extreme interest.

Got my UCM with the KS, but now that @BoW have covered ga e as much as they have since the KS ending, I really think I need to get some PHR.

Like everything from Dave and friends that I have had the pleasure of putting my hands on.
If I win, I’ll be going with the Scourge fleet. It would give me a nice opportunity to show off the metal Scourge frigate I won back when that contest happened. That was my first, and so far only, Beasts of War prize. I actually had a chance to meet Dave at the Las Vegas Open back in February. He said that the metal Scourge frigates haven’t been made yet, but they will be once the rest of the Kickstarter backers get their stuff. I’ll probably try to build up a tournament Scourge fleet, even if I don’t win this one. If nothing else, it’s an alternative to my primary PHR fleet. Neat stuff!

Hawk is the one game company I’ve been hovering around for a couple of years now without buying in. I love the art and the concept, but our local community can only support so many games. A prize like that could probably be my tipping point though.

Don’t currently play the game, but played a demo at Salute and I love it and it is one/two that I am going to get in sooner rather than later. Nice to see that it is going so well for the guys over at Hawk.
I am so bad with this kind of stuff, I still have Dropfleet and Dropzone all painted in their boxes never played.. the shame 🙁
I absolutely love the box art on the new Dropfleet sets. Would love to put them on display after I finished building the minis. The UCM and PHR are definitely on my wish list for the future.
Grrr – no footage of the new scourge space station bits, shame on you Justin! That PHR box cover looks amazing. Really makes the PHR ships look dangerous. Makes me wish I could order those same boxes to put my KS stuff into.

A glass demo table you say? Why stop at one tier? You could have one for each level of atmosphere, and give the players sticks so they can reach in and move their ships! Hmm, might need a few grabby claws to retrieve the ships too..

That table! Great effect on it and interesting idea about supporting the middle and long run areas with maybe clear flight stands? And DAVE, how about the clear flightstands have a tiny magnet on the top allowing you to place ships right on the board for display, stand to stand?
God, those look great! Need to get the Scourge box some time as they are the only race I don’t have a Battle Cruiser for. And their new Battle Cruiser looks glorious!

The battlegroup boxes are awesome. In the KS, I mostly picked up UCM and Shaltari ships and then my wife took a look at the Scourge and said, “I like those.” This will make getting her a fleet so much easier!

That experimental table looks good, I think they should try to get clear supports in rather than the white to really give you that hovering in a planet atmosphere. Nonetheless it still looks great and gives me some cool ideas. Lights could also add to the “atmosphere” excuse the pun, but with led lights and their colour changing ability you could almost simulate different times of the day, from sunrise to sunset etc. Could really add to the gameplay experience. Hawk are always on the go with new products and what a nice success story it has been for them, well done Dave.
