About the Project

Revisiting some old games and bringing them back to life and seeing if they are as good as I remember. This includes a bit of painting and modeling as well was forcing folk to play them.

Another problem is stairs. I can't really do stairs going down to the next level unless I elevate the rest of the board so they will always go upstairs.Another problem is stairs. Another problem are the doors. The original plastic kits had very flimsy hinges that would break. I don't think we have solved this with 3dprints. The doors in the game do need ho open and close. The other option is to do whole prints of open doors and empty doorways. At least we could add some variation in door styles.Another problem are the doors. A slight problem presented itself with the rooms size. The squares on the tile were made the same as the ones on the corridor sections but they aren't. Once printed I realised they are smaller.A slight problem presented itself with the rooms size. The squares on the tile were made the same as the ones on the corridor sections but they aren't. They are smaller because they have an outer wall where doors are placed. So as you can see my room didn't fit beside the corridor sectionsThey are smaller because they have an outer wall where doors are placed. So as you can see my room didn't fit beside the corridor sections

I have a soft spot for old-school squats and have a few metals but browsing 3d printing websites I found some squat lookalikes in cults. They came unsupported but printed ok. I painted them up in the style of the old plastic box set art. I also found some files for trikes and bikes so might have a go at printing them.I have a soft spot for old-school squats and have a few metals but browsing 3d printing websites I found some squat lookalikes in cults. Fantasy on round bases, nnoooooo. I did a video on Advanced Heroquest and realised having round bases on a square grid board is a bit odd. I felt bad rebasing these old minis but it works better in my mind.Fantasy on round bases, nnoooooo.
