Kickstarter centered around the 761st Tank Battalion (Black Panthers)

Edit for clarity:  The KS is being run by Gaddis Gaming.  Here’s their link

The 761st Tank Battalion was an African American unit of the US Army in WW2 that served in Europe.

The link below is to an article in a US based newspaper. Apparently those based in the EU can’t access the article due to EU regulations. I do not know why. But for those that can’t access the article it’s an interview with the owner.

That link gives this message :

For any issues, contact [email protected] or call 248-332-8181.

If they can’t even comply with the GDPR there’s something fishy going on.

@limburger that’s an EU issue with online content of a US based newspaper.

Gaddis Gaming has been around awhile. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gaddisgaming/empires-fall?ref=clipboard-prelaunch

@blipvertus GDPR is not exactly rocket science as it basically put into law what should be good practice (describe what data you collect to your users/customers and don’t collect data you’re not going to use for your primary proces).

Anyways …

Thanks for the kickstarter link 😀
I doubt it’s going to be EU friendly though, but it is good to see new stuff.

@limburger sounds much like the various privacy policies.

But yes, it’s good to see new stuff on an often overlooked of the war.

Warlord published an interesting article on the 92nd Infantry ‘Buffalo Soldiers’ https://www.warlordgames.com/92nd-infantry-division-buffalo-soldiers/?__s=5hzfsore5sc4rqcakm42

@tankkommander I saw that. Interesting bit of history. The 92nd Infantry served mostly in Italy while the 761st Tank Battalion served in France.
