Signum Games has expanded their collection of resin 32mm scale figures for Warseer and beyond with some absolutely glorious new Dwarves that come as part of two new packs whilst also being available separately. See what you think of these bearded corsairs!

Dwarf Boarding Party - Signum Games

Dwarf Boarding Party // Signum Games

We start with the Dwarf Boarding Party, which comes with three wonderfully sculpted miniatures for you to use as part of your Dwarven warband in various games. They have been designed to be used with the likes of Legends of Signum 2: Warseer but they could also be great stand-in figures for board games and roleplaying games if you desired.

Brannor - Signum Games

Fenrik - Signum Games

Fenrik // Signum Games

The three miniatures in this particular set are Brannor, Master Cannoneer; Fenrik, Sailor and Fisherman and then Borin Copperpot. That's a good start to your crew with each of them being absolutely packed with character.

Borin Copperpot - Signum Games

Borin Copperpot // Signum Games

One thing that makes a good Dwarf miniature is getting the beards just right and I think that Signum Games' sculptors have done just that with these miniatures. I like that they all have some unique nautical elements to their miniatures, from the plate of fresh seafood through to an octopus that might or might not be helping fire that cannon.

If you want even more nautically themed Dwarves in your life, then how about the Warseer Faction Box for the Dwarf Corsairs of the Sea Hammer?

This expands on the smaller set with a great crew of additional miniatures for you to use when playing games of Warseer. Again, all of the figures are in resin and look stunning.

  • Torgin, Dwarf Sailor with Mug of Ale
  • Keldran, Dwarf Quartermaster
  • Hargin Ironhorn, Harpoon Master
  • Tibri, Pelican Rider with Fishing Rod
  • Thorgrim Ironwake, Admiral of the Concord
  • Marella, the Tidebinder

I like that the set also comes with some female Dwarves for you to use, avoiding a complete beard-fest (although I wouldn't be put off by a little bit of fuzz around the chin).

Marella - Signum Games

Marella // Signum Games

I really like that Marella looks like she takes no nonsense from anyone and I enjoy the touch of the anglerfish on her staff, which is sort of "guiding her way" as she looks at weaving her magic and controlling the flow of the tides.

You've also got the wild-looking Tibri, Pelican Rider! Get your mount to do what you want by dangling their favourite food in front of their beak. Good idea!

The inventiveness of Signum Games continues to come through in their sculpts. If you like the look of these miniatures but you don't want to pick up a whole box of Dwarves, then you can buy all of the miniatures individually over on the Dwarf Corsairs page on the Signum Games website.

Could these miniatures tempt you to look closer at the Signum Games range?
