On this week's show Gerry tempts John into the Franco-Prussian War with an epic game that mixes tabletop skirmish and real-time strategy together to produce a system that constantly asks questions about your tactics on the tabletop. Could this be the system needed to get John to start and break Gerry's resolve to stay away from yet another period?

Wyrm Forge has been producing some fantastic miniatures for other people for a long time, casting in metal, resin, and even 3D printing they are masters of their craft. Late last year they took over some of the Westfalia sculpts to begin producing their own miniature ranges and this has been followed by their own sculpts. Monolith is back on Kickstarter with another way for you to dive into the world of Solomon Kane. The Savage World Of Solomon Kane is their limited edition roleplaying game using the Savage Worlds system that can also make use of hundreds of plastic miniatures based on the heroes and villains from Solomon Kane's back catalogue.

Free League Publishing are currently taking pre-orders for a classic campaign, revived for the new edition of the Dragonbane RPG. Path Of Glory was originally released for Drakar och Demoner back in 1985 and 1986 and the new volume brings all three stories together into one epic tome. 

Today is Star Wars Day! With that in mind, I thought it would be good to discuss the lure of Star Wars and why it's such an intriguing prospect for tabletop gamers to bring to the tabletop, be it through wargames, board and card games or roleplaying games.
