It's time to chat with Carlos and find out what's new about Infinity here at Gen Con. We also have a chat about Aristea!

It’s always good to see Carlos on video :). Still on a bit of an Infinity high from the global campaign. I’m very curious to see how Aristea plays.

I like the board. Will that 3D hex terrain be in the box at all, in 2D or 3D form.
It would be cool to see themed environment boards or mats in the future. Would add a fun extra element.
Cannot wait for some news on whats after the starter set expansions.

I’m really looking forward to aristea from a hobbyist perspective as I imagine it’s the type of range they can really go crazy with since they don’t have to worry about going off brand for a particular faction. Kinda hoping the panda ends up being the calm before the storm as it were. Also I love that board, wow.
loved the manga looking forward to getting the figs. The new game looks great as well wish I could have made it to gen con. Now I have to go work on an aristea setup like that I think =)
Seems like most of the combat in Infinity is geared around the planets, but they use space ships to get where they are going. Any chance of ship combat scenarios and rules?
Or even boarding combat, if they don’t want to publish ship-to-ship rules
Currently really getting into Infinity, got Icestorm with the beyond box pre-ordered and loved the Manga (Knauf is on my painting table as we speak) and really wouldn’t mind winning the box of minis BUT, Carlos, can we please get rules to use them?

secondly, I’m currently screaming hysterically about CB.
thirdly, my Gencon bundle is in the post. fan of vagabond so there was no way chibi mushshi wasn’t happening.
fourthly, the Manga was something I’ve been crying out for from you guys and I devoured it ravenously. encore.
fifthly, I do not yet own the miniatures for the Manga outside the limited edition, just saying.
can’t wait for the seminar and i’m super jealous of anyone in Angels class
question. are you going to get your arses to UK games expo next year ?
it was nice getting Gutier in the UK last year and it would be great to see him here again.
would be even better if you came in force, I want me an Angel seminar.
a big event like that would be a great focal point for the community here and a much better place for nationals. need an inclusive event that casual players and beginners can get involved with.

Picked up the book this week. Cool story, awesome figure of Knauf. Now if I could only get Angel to paint it for me.

I’m certainly interested in the manga but low on cash. Wonder if I can get it at my bookstore still have some book gift cards.
I checked but couldn’t find it on the websites of my bookstores. 1 of which specializes in english books. So make it available to bookstores

I wish we’d had some closeups on the Aristeia figures as painted on the board (Which BTW would make a fantasic Battletech demo board too).

CB seem to be going from strength to strength! The latest stuff is simply amazing.
Hope they do more Manga or even move into novels for Infinity. Can not wait to see a full game play of Aristeia.
I love Corvus Belli’s minis, but it’s either the easiest range in the world to paint or everyone that shows off their finished models are master painters! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a badly painted Infinity mini 🙂

that Aristeia board looks really cool im liking the idea of an arena type pit and the columns, this might just be the one for me to keep my eye on

I’m still taking my first steps into Infinity, working my way through Red Veil with my mate Damian. We’ve played through the first four scenarios and I’m loving it! We’ve already preordered our Beyond set!
The Aristea table looks gorgeous! I think we’ll definitely get in on that game too!

I hope we will get a tiny demo of Aristeia because I want to know more, it looks like a lot of fun=) The manga Outrage was so good, at least for my part and was a great entry for me in the Infinity universe, can’t wait to get ly hand on the rest of the team because even if Knauf is a lonely guy, he wants his companions of a day =P
Wow, please play a demo of Aristeis and give us a good look at the board? Can you find out how the board layout is done so I can start to plan making my own. How much of it is changed between games, are there different shapes and layouts for different game types etc… Great coverage and please keep it up, living the Con through you guys is as close as most of us can get to being there.
That’s certainly a big tease at this point on Aristea. Looking forward to seeing the gameplay.
As for Infinity – looking forward to the tell-all seminar. Although Dawn could have pressed him more for one little snippet…

Will there be a follow up to Outrage? I found it an enjoyable read that would have been very approachable to people who don’t know Infinity (at least, I assume so. I have too many Infinity models to claim ignorance of the setting). The conclusion feels like it could lead nicely into another standalone book!
The outrage manga was a really fantastic piece of fiction and story telling. I’m really hopeful the team will be playable in Infinity or in Aristea. A mercs faction where you can put together your own elite group with a campaign system, like in the manga, would be a killer finish. Here’s hoping for the future.

I am really impressed with the entry points into infinity – choice of starters and a one-box expansion for each as the next step. I will definitely be jumping in at some point. Probably when my current reading pile reduces to the level where I have the bandwidth to get to grips with it property. Will keep an eye on Aristea though – that might be my jumping in point.

Looking forward to getting my hands on the manga minis… And then getting another Dog Warrior and Anaconda TAG to mod into appropriate counterparts. I’d like to kit bash a Dolly Dagger, too, although that’s a bit daunting (easily occupying a quarter of a gameboard).

One day I’ll get to meet Bostria! I love infinity, such an amazing game. Haven’t been able to get my hands on the manga as it’s always sold out but looking forward to it. Hoping to see a demo of Aristeia and previews of the Blackjacks!
They keep teasing us with little bits of Aristea, I really hope we get to see what this game is all about. It does look like it might be even less models that you play with and at a quick glance it seems that the models are fairly “big” but we need to see more now please. If it is a low model count I would like to see some robotic suites almost like Gundam or something similar.
Another interesting bit of information might be to get to know how a Spanish company designed a game with a very specific Japanese Manga style, that would be an interesting story.

So excited to hear about all the stuff they are working on over there! I know they are coming out with the new game and that is going to be a big focus on what they are going to talk about. But I wonder if they to talk about some other things they might be working on to be release between now and next GenCon.
I am really enjoying playing Infinity at the moment and looking forwards to what is coming in the future. Particularly looking forwards to seeing Aristea and what that is like. Thank you to the people over at Corvus Belli for making such a brilliant game.

Love the Infinity game. I don’t think I will play Aristeia. Sports is just not my thing. I would like them to do other stuff though. Fantasy would be nice or 15mm mass battle with loads of TAG’s ans vehicles.

Aristeia is looking interesting. Appears to be very different from infinity proper. Really want that PanO Tank guy he looks great and with some modding he could be a great Swiss except we just got a great Swiss in the beyond box. Also looking forward to the seminar when it drop!

I loved painting Icestorm following Angels books and loved the results so much that even though I don’t know any Infinity players I am strongly tempeted by Red Veil and the Beyonds just to paint and learn more from those books. I love CBs models.
I didn’t have the guide of an Angel, so it took me a while to finish them, they are so delicate!
I’m loving the Tunguska minis in the Beyond Icestorm box and really excited to see when this sectorial lands. They might even tempt me away from my beloved Bakunin…

I’m sure I’ve got a Nomad force around here that I need to tryout at some point. Another great game that I didn’t find opponents for. Such gorgeous miniatures though.
I’m really looking forward to Aristea. It will hopefully be a really fun way to get people interested in the world of Infinity, so I can hopefully drum up some opponents with it and my Operation Red Veil set.

That out of the way, while I’ve placed an order for the gencon bundle, I have to say that the gencon exclusive this year really didn’t do much for me… Sure it’s got a cool pose, but that head/mask combo… Kinda wish it looked a bit meaner…Or maybe it’s just the paintwork for the piece that throws me off for some strange reason…

Corvus Belli and Carlos always do a great job with some amazing displays and either pre-release or limited releases… and then today I saw even more releases for the next few months… really impressive that they keep up the new releases (even if some are repacks =p)… looking forward to more on Aristea!

I really enjoyed the manga for Infinity and I am indeed tempted to get the character miniature pack for it. Was wondering if there are rules to use those characters as well? Can’t wait to get the Aristeia game! The demo of it was a blast at Gen Con.

I’ve just gotten into Infinity with the Operation Icestorm boxed set. Aptly named for us up here in the frozen north of Norway
Wish I was there the coverage is just great. So many great games, so little time
Only recently developing an obsession with Infinity but I have to say that it seems to have the most engaged and amazing player community. Every player seems a huge fan.
Likewise after having watched every bit of content on BoW from Corvus Belli it’s amazing to see how well thought out and meticulous they’ve been in the development of this game. The miniatures and the quality of the rules development easily seems the best in the industry to me. They also take careful steps to serve the needs of the players and make it easy to get up to speed with the rest of the community. It’s well appreciated, from a newly minted fan!
Keep on pouring on the content. Would love to see an Aristeia! week and another visitation from Carlos for the latest Infinity updates as well. He’s hilarious and an amazing emissary for an amazing company! Keep it up!
