Unfortunately Star Trek gets no love in my gaming group. They are all Star Wars. I love Star Trek as I grew up watching it. They are doing a great job with the game however and those who play seem to love it.
I would love the Four D&D Collectors Miniatures! Those actually have me more excited.
Probably after a new Star Trek movie you could introduce the game to them
LOL Ferangi players will be as annoying as the actual race! The Borg will be fun though.
I can see a trollish player doing his best to get assimilated by the borg so he can take over the borg and then slaughter his buddies. Sounds like fun

All jokes aside, looks like a fun game – I am not a Star Trek fan but I am surrounded by people who are so and they will be over the moon to see this coming out. 🙂

It sounds to me that this Borg expansion is a must have for Ascendancy – I love the idea that it starts off AI driven but that changes if the Borg defeat a player. Very cool!
Just played as the Ferangi tonight ready like the way you get production resources with the trade agreements from other players
I’ve been getting tempted to play star trek ascendancy. Would love to try a demo of it.

Having that AI option is so important with a faction like the Borg.
It really seems resistance is futile and I might have to get this game.
The whole Borg thing sounds awesome, especially the playing on as a Borg player after being assimilated.

About time. Bought the game when it first came out but hadn’t played it yet because I needed at least one of the expantions to come out so my whole play group can play. Took long enough.
Now I must get them asap.
Star Trek made me who i am today, one of my earliest memories was me sat with family watching next generation. This game looks so awesome, ivr never played it. With the new series comig out soon im hoping to get more interest from my boys so i can get this played with them.
I love the sound of the borg mechanic and the fact you continue as part of the borg. Really want to get into this one!!

Haven’t played Ascendency because of the game time wich is quite long with 3 to 5 players but, it’s still very tempting 😉

Don’t know why, but I’ve never been interested in the Star Trek universe. This game however looks really interesting and something that I’d really like to play.
Yes finally the Ferengi and Cardies are out! And that Borg expansion definitely sounds like a must-have

Well as they promised the expantions did hit the stores in the U.S. today. Snap them up. Hope to get a 4 or 5 player game on the table soon. Let’s hope the Borg get here soon as well.

Ascendancy is on my list for sure.
More games should have a single player option in their core box. Its the best way to teach yourself how to play. No one wants to be learning while teaching their friends and getting it wrong and spending the whole time reading the rules.

I wasn’t really interested in this when it came out but the Borg sound like they add a nice mechanic. Maybe it’s worth a look after all, I’ll see if my group has any interest.

I can not say that I have played or even seen this played yet. After having watched this, I would like to try it. I like the Borg concept that is being added to this game. A really neat concept.
