Dawn stops in with the folks from Ares Games to talk to them about the upcoming dungeon crawler extraordinaire that is Sword & Sorcery which comes with a massive dragon and plenty of epic heroes.
As well as that they are talking through some more of their game library but we have a copy of Sword & Sorcery to give away in the comments!
Sword & Sorcery does look awesome.

I like dungeon crawlers. Components look good. Can’t clearly hear the video though.

It’s a toss up between Swords and Sorcery and the Dark Hold Kickstarter. Has anyone played S&S? What’s it like?

From Hero Quest to Dungeon Saga, Iove my dungeon crawlers and Sword and Sorcery looks like it is right up my alley. I love the idea of a more challenging crawler, not the lowest common denominator.
Need to pick this one up.

Am playing Sails of Glory and loves that game!
I’ve played some Sword & Sorcery and it’s a blast. An even better enemy AI than Galaxy Defenders, which was already really great.
I had a hard time understanding this dude, but the Sarajevo game has my full attention.
Also, dungeon crawlers are good, hooray!

Another game I hadn’t come across before.
Dungeon crawlers becoming a very crowded space now so it be interesting to see what sets this out from the others.

S&S looks pretty great from what Iv’e heard, keent o see more of it.
I missed this one on Kickstarter. Will look to demo it as soon as I can! Also, I’ve heard mixed things about Last Friday but I do always enjoy a good hidden movement game.

Best mechanic in the Sword & Sorcery is when your hero becomes a ghost so you do not have to die and then wait for everyone else to finish playing. The figures are pretty good as well although a bit softer plastic than I would like. I have friends who did the KS but I would love me a copy as well.

I followed the Kickstarter but at the time money was a bit tight. Thankfully my friend got it. The housekeeping is a bit too much,but other then that it’s awesome.

A nice looking Dungeon Crawler,just went on their website and they have some really really nice stuff.
Sword and Sorcery sounds like my kind of game. Would really like to try it out.
I wonder when they are coming out with the wings of glory ww1 aliens game that was leaked a year or so ago.

My Monday night gaming buddies and myself are about halfway through the Swords and Sorcery campaign at the moment. Loving it, it’s a great game. Went in on the Master of the Galaxy kickstarter based off a solid impression from it as well, so looking forward to seeing how this plays.

I hope Dawn got a break after that. It looks like 4 days of interviews had taken its toll. She did not look happy during that.
Sword & Sorcery sounds like it has some nice unique mechanics in how the game reacts on its AI. I like look of the board pieces with some 3D affects on the artwork.
The survival game also interests me in that it seems to be quite challenging and looks like you are going to have to make moral choices, this will definitely draw you in for some serious thought provoking gaming.

Sword & Sorcery looks so good. I wish Beasts of War did a lets play on this while the kickstarter was running. I just wasnt aware of it back in 2015.

I love Ares Games. I have the Wings and Sails of Glory games. I do not know to much about the dungeon crawler games but it looks like it would be fun too.
You just can’t go wrong with a good dungeon crawler. Looks lovely and with a big dragon miniature as well, what’s not to like?
