Entering A World Of Weird With DUST 1947 - Comment To Win!

Justin catches up with Marek from DUST 1947 to talk about what they’ve brought to the show.

Comment to Win!

Justin gets a lovely surprise because the newly released Japanese faction are at the show. Resplendent with mechs these forces add a new dynamic to DUST. Marek is very good to our audience members and is graciously giving away a mercenary walker so comment down below to have a chance of nabbing it!

Great models, great game.

ocahan

Dust is one of those games that simply looks awesome on the table.

dwarvakeen40

Love to see what comes next in the DUST universe. Keep the releases coming!!

gazky

I have always wanted to get into this as the range looks amazing but I’ve just never had the chance, well fingers crossed!

perrin

Just got my Dust tactic base game from someone who stopped plaing (becouse of his chldren ;-)After the frist game we were hooked. Glad the game system is still alive!

rayzryr

Shiny!!

aztecjaguar

Great to see Dust alive and kicking. The Luther Mech is one of my favourite miniatures in my collection.

daegren

Dust is amazing. Still try to find time to play it.

eaglex11

I need those tasty tank mechs in my life, the leadbelcher is ready.

preewarsalad

Love a bit of weird world war and I think the new Japanese models might have sold me.

noyjatat

Woohoo, I have been waiting for the Japanese release of Dust. Wonder if Lloyd still has all his stuff…

dreadlorddon

Love this take on Weird World War II, is the line 28mm? Always looking for more mechs for system agnostic games.

malsuir

i played the 1st version of this but haven’t looked at this one

sundancer

Mech…. mine, mine, mine! 😉

ferb

Love Dust but find it really hard to find opponents sadly 🙁

dmwarmock

I bought into Dust at Salute this year Buying a premium starter set – they are beautiful. One of the model had one very small piece missing – one of those things. Marek could not have been more helpful, after a quick email exchange within a week I had a painted part shipped from Hong Kong. Sweet!

darthvegeta800

My buddy has a huge collection.
DUST has beautiful models.
A shame the brand has been a bit tainted by the reboots and problems over the years.
Hopefully this time they will stand strong and fierce.

kantor72

Great looking weird world war mechs.Did fill his boots on new stuff ?

danamonsterzuul

As someone lightly obsessed with WWII history I’m always very interested in where the fictionalized stories go with these. I may have to look into Dust, as I’ve been tempted for a long time. The minis are great

coachjose59

Love their models, great stuff. Wish there was more of it in my area. But I always get something from the, when I go to adepticon.

theamazingmrg

Stompybots for the win!

blipvertus

The IJN looks to be a highly entertaining faction with an odd combo of infinite range rail gun armed mechs and troops armed with very short ranged weapons.

rokdok

Thats a badass walker!

trinitty

Never played DUST yet, it looks awesome

crazycabo

A friend of mine loves this game!

benkku

Great game

shredhead

Dust for me is all about their vehicles, they look great!

lordreaver

Saw some of the mechs at Salute. Very cool, would like to paint a few!

innes

Dust minis are great.

bigbadbazz

My first Minatures game

jemmy

Oh dear, another one to try out. Is it the longest day or the longest wishlist. Kidding. The wishlist is of course longer. Much longer. Incredibly longer. Aaaargh!.

poland825

I love DUST Time to expand my collection

darkling

Dust was my first miniature game, I have a very big box of minis, but there is always a room for new units 🙂
And I love those new ninja squads!

blackspiral

DUST was my first game back into miniwargaming with the revised box. It still have a place in my heart and it is still by far the best designed Weird War 2 aesthetically! Great stuff!

while

Dust seem interesting, and the pre paints are a nice option.

lordsanes

I hadn’t heard of this game before. Looks super weird. I must know everything about it…

truthslayer

Dust is a great game and the rules are easy to pick up anyone that wants to try it out the basic rule book is free for download on the website and there is an army app that’s really great to given its free and updated often. The app also has all the unit cards too

battlehawk

Cool minis.

kbog

Love my Alt/Weird war, and feel that the KS anger has faded enough to look at this again, especially with CoC faction

doomdark

looks great

elysium64

Do not know why I have not got into this game. I loved the Paole Parentes World of Dust prior to game being released. I love the models problem is I do not know where to start. I do like the Special forces LRDG type force. But I also love the original storyline characters the American Soldier, The female Russian Mech pilot and the German female, with the gorillas and stuff.

I do like the Dust walkers and planes

rjstreet

This game is sooooo under-appreciated!

marktarver

the japanese mechs looked awesome.

darkspi

japanese are temping me

kinggidora

TThey have some great looking models just wish you saw them more often in Michigan

stokeman

A really well-executed setting and model range. I love how they keep expanding factions and adding new ones (Japanese and Mythos). I had a collection from the FFG days and I’ve recently gotten back in for the new factions and revised rules. Just picked up some Mythos models, which look great. Keep it up, Dust studio!

lordofuzkulak

For the OTT drinking game, do we all have to take a shot over Justin getting excited over the Japanese, or does it only count when Sam brings up Japan? ?

?

darkdanegan

It’s great to see Dust doing so well, it does look very impressive on the table!

greywulf

DUST has been on my wishlist for so long. I need to fix that.

laughingboy

This will at some point no doubt hit my radar as I seem to be playing more and more historicals and I am going to want to pull that back a little in weird world war/fantasy

waxer

I love DUST. But nowadays is very hard to find it.

lonesojourner

Underrated game.

mtgamer

DUST 1947 one of those games that I would like to try and have never had a chance to do so.

goatberger

I have the “old” Dust range but haven’t made the jump to try the new stuff yet. Looks great.

radegast6

Mare You forgot to mention about European championship coming soon in Poland.

shanewookiee

Dust has always looked awesome

Robert

Funny, as Lloyd hasn’t been showing off his Dust stuff and showing off his Saga, I sort of forgotten it existed. Interesting stuff.

ahren78

Those are some nice looking mechs.

gwtharg

Japanese mechs, now there’s an idea that could catch on

nehpets

I’ve always eyeballed this game, watched videos, and even hovered over the buy button. But I always draw back because of the lack of playerbase, I really hope that changes. This is a beautiful game.

lorddraconum

Wow so many great games and models at the show and this is one of them.

dafthelmet85

Keep looking at this game….

jmrecoil

Still need to paint my dust minis.

mujamor

I love Dust, I just wish it was more accessible and played in my area but it has a unique world that I’d love to play in.

tomsche69

A great game I`ve been playing a long time now

panzerkaput

I like the look of Dust

paulgbarnes

it looks good

jester20001

Ive only played dust a couple of time but really enjoyed it. We have a set at the club so maybe I will get back into it this summer

falerox

Id love to try this game the models are great.

lawnor

I always like seeing their minis on the show. I’d love to paint some. I had a quick check on the starter bundle prices at the show, and decided I have too much stuff to paint to justify them right now. Next time perhaps.

astralwraith

Who doesn’t like weird war?

warbossd

The Cthullu and horror minis are frickin amazing. Didn’t even know it was a thing until I saw it on their stand this year.

phoenixris

Good to see there is still some love for Dust

lukusbiriyani

brill looking stuff

wwbennylavad

Dust

jwalker0405
