BeQuest Sculpt New 28mm Retro Sci-Fi Space Shark Squad
July 15, 2026 by brennon
BeQuest Miniatures are expanding their collection of 28mm scale Retro Sci-Fi miniatures with a distinct Oldhammer flavour with the addition of the deadly Space Sharks to their collection soon. If you're a fan of the sculpting of the 80s and 90s, you'll want to be checking these out.
Space Shark Leader // BeQuest Miniatures
We start with the Space Shark Leader, as you'd expect. He comes clad in power armour and armed with an energy pistol for disintegrating his enemies and a power shark axe for when he needs to get up close and personal. He also has the regimented haircut of a military man and the square jaw to match.
He then leads the Space Sharks themselves, a deadly army of intergalactic killers who have ultra-serious helmet designs. No seriously, this is serious!

This set represents some of the specialists that you'll get in your squad of Space Sharks to use in your games. You have two classic special weapons in the flamer and the rocket launcher on either side of the Tech Shark in the middle. He comes with a wrench for, well, wrenching things, and you can see he deals with temperamental technology as he's lost a leg in the process!
All of this then comes together as part of the full squad of Space Sharks.

These miniatures, armed with your regular weapons, will be heading off to be turned into 28mm scale white metal figures very soon. You can keep an eye on the BeQuest Miniatures Facebook for more information on when they become available but you can also check out Hagen-Miniatures as they stock the range of Sci-Fi figures they produce.
Some fun miniatures that have the classic Oldhammer vibe to them. They would fit in with a lot of other figures that people have been producing over the last few years, perfect for dropping into older editions of Warhammer or the wealth of Indie Sci-Fi games out there in the world.
What do you make of the Space Sharks?
