Home › Forums › News, Rumours & General Discussion › Help with How to Start a Flag Printer Service for minis of course
I am going to ask the most stupid and daftest question and it is about hobby too.
Well after creating my Muslim flags, I have had a lot of interest on getting printed version of them and I am wondering just how one would go about it.
I recon my home set up for printing my own flags wouldn’t cut it profession and outsourcing them to a profession company would cost a small fortune, that would not be profitable in the long run. So I think I will need to go down the route of a decent laser printer and sourcing decent weigh card paper. I have to admit i have no idea on where to start.
Designing them is not a problem but the printing is.
So if anyone has any useful ideas, tips or who to talk too I am all ears..

Could you sell them digitally rather than printing them yourself?
Would a print on demand service for books of flags be workable in the same way as the rulebook for Reign in Hell on Wargames Vault?
Wow, NICE FLAGS!
@orinoco – I agree, to a point; I personally like printing my own, as I inevitably screw up the glue on one, no matter how many I’ve done.
Digital printing is cheap to purchase – I send mine to Staples when I want quality laser jobs. I own a cheap b&w laser for home printing – that’s it. Mostly for Amazon returns lol.
@panzerkaput – good username. Kewl! How many digital flags would have to be purchased vs buying an exceptional quality laser printer, getting paper right, scaling issues – think about it. I think you would do well to do BOTH, but what if you started with just digital, and invested in the hard copies after you made mad cheddar selling digital? You could even do bonus add-ons, like brass flag poles or something.
My thoughts. Your metreage may vary.
Thats a good idea and it worth exploring
Thanks there and it is at the embryonic stages but it is getting there. I have a lot to do but thanks for your helpful suggests/
Glad you like the name too
