So you as the hacker can go to town on that heavy without any resistence if you hacked him? Just want to make sure I got this right.
Yes, you can either target the Heavy Infantry directly, in which case you take their BTS ability off your WIP score when making the roll, or you can directly resist the hacking attempt by having your Hacker make an opposed roll.
As we said, the HI can also dodge if they can see the hacking attempt coming, or shoot in response.
Once immobilised… the target can’t do anything for one whole turn.

Good video, I only have to add that Immobilised models can spend orders, but have a really limited selection of orders to use.
‘jiggerypokery’ is nowhere near used often enough in today’s world. I would say it to my fiancée when the mood is right but she usually replies with a slap to the face.
My guess is Jiggerpokery is to try and confuse Mike.
Nah… it’s because he gets annoyed when I call it “magic”! 😀

Liking the infinity tips! Just looking to get into it and now I can’t see all the videos from infinity week, which is annoying! Also where abouts did you get the containers your using in scenery?
“No you can not hack me!” I think everyone must make hand-blocking movements when rolling for a hacking dodge. New rule! Ha ha ha!
Ah the number of times I’ve taken down HI with my Nomads 🙂
Last lead to the following situation:
– Achilles moves up the field and enter’s into a repeaters range and gets hacked down.
– In my turn an Infiltrator with MSVL2 and HMG puts suppressive fire over him, but with Achilles’s 6 armor and cover he shrugs off the HMG shots. I then focus elsewhere.
– In his turn Achilles tries to reset, triggering a FtF rll with my hacker as well as getting hit with a suppressive fire ARO. My hacker stops him.
We went back and forth with Achilles being immobilized from hacking and getting out of the immob at least 6-7 times each time me firing 4 more rounds into him. He eventually got up, killed my Intruder, and while trying to hack him his defensive hacker crit me :(.
Achilles is just a big meanie!!! lol

Enjoying the vids, they’re quite useful for getting people to understand the rules better.
So can Hacker hack all HI regardless. I thought Adriana did not have any tech to be hacked.
You can’t dodge a hack attempt, a dodge can only Face to Face a BS, CC, PH or Forward Observer attack.
You can still shoot the hacker in the face as an ARO though other than that and defensive hacking, not so much you can do.
Forgot, Ariadna HI does have an extemption to the hacking rule for HI 🙂
